“Last night before the Judds concert, we were looking for a place to have dinner. Most places right around the venue were at least an hour wait. We ended up a couple blocks from away at a place called deadhorse hill . It was a small place, not a huge menu but a decent selection of options. The greeter was prompt and polite. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Our waitress was attentive and funny with a quick wit. While we waited for our meal, I observed the bartender expertly measuring, stirring and shaking drinks while engaged in friendly chatting with other staff and people at the bar. Our food was great. We each got burgers and fries and they were delicious. When the bill came, there was a 20% tip already factored in. I've seen this done for large parties before but it was just three of us. Apparently it was stated on the menu, I hadn't seen it. I'm paraphrasing here because I don't recall the exact wording but basically they said the reason they do it is so that all staff is paid equally and they earn enough to make a livable wage. I thought that was pretty cool and then it dawned on me, our waitress was truly one of the best I've ever had. In truth, she didnt have to be. Technically, she was already getting her 20% guaranteed. She didnt have to put in any extra effort. The same goes for the rest of the staff. To me, this made it all the more impressive. The backs of the shirts they all wore said, "Don't be a Pickle kicker". Couldn't figure out what that meant so we asked our waitress. She told us that some time ago back they first opened, a young man worked there and when it got busy and he was building the sandwiches and a pickle fell to the floor, he would just kick it under the fridge. When other staff would clean they would find piles of pickles under there. So its a message to everyone on staff to think of each other, take pride in their work and don't be lazy. I thought that was pretty amazing. All in all, if you ever find yourself in Worcester, MA for a concert or event at the DCU Center, go early and have dinner at Deadhorse Hill. Well worth it and a wonderful experience.”

We showed up with a party of seven and despite it being crowded and busy, the very kind older woman was willing to scrap together some chairs and tables for us to sit as a family. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was awesome. Highly recommend dining here, but the place is small so I recommend calling ahead!”

“Easy 5 stars: -our server was SO patient with us and kept coming back asking to take drink and/or dinner orders, even when weren't ready most of the time -very affordable!! -drinks are tasty!!! I ordered FOUR mojitos (coconut flavor for 2 and passion fruit for the other 2) -food was Huge! I had the classic cubano. YUM! If you look at my pic it was GIANT. Came with THE BEST FRIES!! Super golden and perfect crunch!! I paid for my friend's dinner and drink, my 4 drinks and dinner and it came out to $110!! NOT BAD!! I also attached a pic of the neon lights behind the corner booth. Super fun, hip, and trendy. Highly recommend!”
“This is one of the best places to go for upscale seafood!!! The atmosphere is great. Also the service is excellent. We had two waiters that constantly waited on us. Our waters were never empty, we got fresh silverware with each course. The food is amazing! We got a seafood dip appetizer that was to die for. Then for our entrees we got the gulf fried shrimp platter and the bourbon peach char. The flavors were amazing! We got the strawberry cheesecake for dessert and it was the best cheesecake I’ve ever had!! Soooo good. I highly recommend going here for date night or any special occasion.”

The MINT staff is so friendly and helpful as well. Thank you for a great meal and conversation, so nice to meet you and enjoy your food. Exceptional in every way. I did RSVP a head of time, because we had 10-13 ppl joining us. This place was a comfortable atmosphere with delicious food! The staff were so friendly & pleasant with us through the whole experience. They made sure we had our drinks filled, and anything we needed at the table at all times. It’s refreshing to have a Very reliable staff. I like to try new food to taste Or just have my all time favorite Thai dish! What is great the location is close to WSC, and close enough to QCC if you’re craving some food. It’s a steady pace business with fresh food. There are plenty of tables to eat in or just order take out . The food came out hot and so fresh! Delicious!! This is definitely my new favorite place to eat or if I just want to order a ice tea! I do prefer the lavender milk tea myself ! All I have to say is try something new & different on the menu. You will not be disappointed! “The food at Fatima's is absolutely delicious and very fresh. The owner is an amazing human being who is incredibly kind. My daughter loves a cake she makes, and Fatima was out of it on the day we were visiting the restaurant. I told the owner we would be back for cake on our next visit, when my daughter was home from college. The owner told me that there was no way my daughter was headed back to school without having her favorite cake. She made a special batch that morning, when she was not even open, in order for my daughter to enjoy it before she left. Both my daughter and I were in tears, we could not believe her incredible kindness. I hope this place succeeds greatly and is around for years to come! Fantastic service, incredible food, and kindness are a winning combination!”

“I found myself in Worcester yesterday and searched for vegan food online and found Belmont Vegetarian among others listed. After seeing several pictures of dishes I decided to go! And I’m glad I did! Belmont Vegetarian (where everything is vegan) was delicious and in heaping portions. There’s a smaller (but still big) container for only $17 and change and a giant container (which I obviously got) for $19 and change. I got BBQ, mac n cheese, rice , beans, and chickpeas, and some sweet n sour steak. They also make their own delicious juice with sea moss. I got watermelon. The place is set up for takeout mostly with only 2 dining tables.Definitely worth the drive from NH!”

This is the archetype of an italian sub. If I had a friend that had never heard of an italian sub before, I'd take them here.11 dollars but its pretty damn big and has a lot of meat. Bread is fresh and makes the sandwich.”

“We ordered from here for the first time on Valentine's Day and it did not disappoint! The food was pretty good. I was intrigued in the honey mustard bacon cheese fries so I ordered them and they were surprisingly very good! I would definitely order them again! They had a nice little kick to it because of the honey mustard! I loved them! My bf got the teriyaki sirloin tips with rice pilaf. He said it was good. I got the chicken & rice soup but I saved it for the next day and it was a typical soup. Nothing spectacular about it. I also forgot to take a photo of it because it was the next day. My meal was the chicken and broccoli alfredo pasta without the broccoli and I opted to get linguine pasta. It was very good and filling. I'd say my only complaint was the amount of oil that was in it. I had to take some napkins to it and put it in a bowl and there was still a lot of oil! All in all, I would definitely go again. I'd probably order something other than the pasta. Though it was very good I thought it was way too oily for my liking.”

“We had our wedding rehearsal dinner/welcome party upstairs at Nuovo in August of 2022 which included almost 100 people. We could not be happier with our choice!!! The food and drinks are excellent and the staff are so hard-working and friendly. The owners are phenomenal and genuinely care about the happiness and satisfaction of their guests. We discussed our vision for the evening with Loreta in advance and she sure did help us achieve it. We had our own bar and servers, as well as a solo live singer we hired who they were easily able to accommodate. Loreta was incredibly responsive, kind, helpful, and patient. My family and I have also had dinner here and we just can’t say enough about how wonderful our several experiences have been. We will absolutely make the trip to Worcester to go back. I will DEFINITELY be back, especially since it is an easy stop on the way home from work. “The ambience is excellent for a large group or an intimate dinner experience. Spacious, comfortable seating. The dining room staff was excellent. Being Lebanese my standards are high when it comes to Middle Eastern food. The hummus was excellent! The baba ghanoush was good but I'm not certain if they use jarred grilled eggplant or fresh, personally I thought it may have been jarred. I ordered the chicken Shawarma salad. I was a little disappointed when I received it as it was not chicken Shawarma. Even people who aren't Lebanese know what Shawarma is, especially in Worcester, the competition is high! This was chicken kebab on salad. (I wish I read the reviews before ordering as someone else stated the same). I reminded myself that if Shawarma wasn't on the menu I would've ordered the chicken kebab anyways and looked past it, however if that was the only thing I had ordered I would've been highly disappointed. The excellent dining service made up for the rude bar staff and unfortunately I feel it needs to be mentioned. I approached the bar and was asking who I was with if they wanted a drink. The bartender (blonde older woman with glasses) said she was busy, and I could completely understand just wanted to make sure she came back to me - but then she told me I could wait until I was seated at my table and order with my waitress. We sat in the bar for another 15 minutes, and even after she wasn't busy she didn't offer to serve me a drink. She served other people drinks right next to me who were with us but she clearly couldn't swallow her pride and ask if I would like a drink. I was in the restaurant for 30 minutes before I finally got a drink as I followed the instructions and waited to be seated and ordered through the waitress. I'm not the type to speak up and make a scene, but the bartender clearly needs customer service training. I didn't let any of the negative things ruin my evening. Everyone loved their dinner, also pictured is the lamb chops and Shrimp. I wish them much success as their business grows, and hope that my feedback can be useful.”

This is definitely becoming one of our new favorites to eat at.”

“We received a JJ gift card for Christmas from family back in Illinois (they didn't realize we didn't have one in Rhode Island). So my fiance and two girls (ages 18mo and 2yr) got in the car and drove the hour and 30 minutes to this Jimmy Johns location. First, the place was CLEAN! There was parking in the street out front, and the staff there were WONDERFUL. We ordered our food and when it was ready, one of the guys started to walk it over because I was balancing my youngest on my hip. I managed to grab the sandwiches and the other man came over and gave me a stack of napkins! And for normal people it's no biggie, but for a parent with toddlers, a stack of napkins is a HUGE deal. I thanks him for them and for cutting the sandwich in half for my girls. Anyways. Long review, but if you're still with me. Know that this JJs is amazing. The food is good. “I took my mother here with the family fir ger 82nd birthday and ordered a Tekadon regular sallery man's dinner my mom's favorite- Hamachi half Teka (Tuna and yellowtail rice bowl) not on the menu we lived in Japan so this is a traditional Japanese dish that is not difficult to make for a regular sushi chef. They made it with no gripes as it should be. This is possibly the best sushi I've had outside of Japan. If you can get a seating here go enjoy everything was good. The staff and service was fine. The chef was actually Japanese. The prices were fair. Will come again and often. This is Everything sushi should be plus those fancy American maki rolls you have come to know and love here that have made Sushi so popular around the world.”
“We had our wedding rehearsal dinner/welcome party upstairs at Nuovo in August of 2022 which included almost 100 people. We could not be happier with our choice!!! The food and drinks are excellent and the staff are so hard-working and friendly. The owners are phenomenal and genuinely care about the happiness and satisfaction of their guests. We discussed our vision for the evening with Loreta in advance and she sure did help us achieve it. We had our own bar and servers, as well as a solo live singer we hired who they were easily able to accommodate. Loreta was incredibly responsive, kind, helpful, and patient. My family and I have also had dinner here and we just can’t say enough about how wonderful our several experiences have been. We will absolutely make the trip to Worcester to go back. Went on Sunday night as it was the only th8ng open within walking distance and WOW!!! it did not disappoint with the burger, got the Bigger Mac, AMAZING!!! On this trip I got the chips instead of the fries. They were OK. The second time I ordered ed the Phenomenal, and the name is absolutely fitting!! Being Lebanese my standards are high when it comes to Middle Eastern food. The hummus was excellent! The baba ghanoush was good but I'm not certain if they use jarred grilled eggplant or fresh, personally I thought it may have been jarred. I ordered the chicken Shawarma salad. I was a little disappointed when I received it as it was not chicken Shawarma. Even people who aren't Lebanese know what Shawarma is, especially in Worcester, the competition is high! This was chicken kebab on salad. (I wish I read the reviews before ordering as someone else stated the same). I reminded myself that if Shawarma wasn't on the menu I would've ordered the chicken kebab anyways and looked past it, however if that was the only thing I had ordered I would've been highly disappointed. The excellent dining service made up for the rude bar staff and unfortunately I feel it needs to be mentioned. I approached the bar and was asking who I was with if they wanted a drink. The bartender (blonde older woman with glasses) said she was busy, and I could completely understand just wanted to make sure she came back to me - but then she told me I could wait until I was seated at my table and order with my waitress. We sat in the bar for another 15 minutes, and even after she wasn't busy she didn't offer to serve me a drink. She served other people drinks right next to me who were with us but she clearly couldn't swallow her pride and ask if I would like a drink. I was in the restaurant for 30 minutes before I finally got a drink as I followed the instructions and waited to be seated and ordered through the waitress. I'm not the type to speak up and make a scene, but the bartender clearly needs customer service training. I didn't let any of the negative things ruin my evening. Everyone loved their dinner, also pictured is the lamb chops and Shrimp. I wish them much success as their business grows, and hope that my feedback can be useful.”

Just be careful because they are STRONG and literally don't taste it. The flatbreads are a true highlight here. A light amd fluffy crust with fresh and flavorful toppings. I also love their coxhina for an appetizer. In general, everything we've had here is so so tasty and the atmosphere and crowd are so welcoming. “I really like this place. We've been here 8-10 times at this point. The food is fairly consistent (I have always liked my meals, but my friends sometimes don't have as much luck). I like their pretzel bites, chicken sandwiches, and burgers - it's a cool touch to have the OBT logo on the buns. Their dessert menu also has a few great options. Drinks are pretty good, and they have cute seasonal cocktails. Service is decent, but I haven't found the host/hostesses very friendly or welcoming - they seem as though they are sometimes annoyed they need to sit people, especially if you have more than 2 people in your party - but maybe they've been having off evenings when I've been there. My only criticisms would be the size of their soft drink cups (which it looks like they have improved, yay!!) and their closing time of 9pm SHARP. If they wish to close at this time, they should stop seating tables a lot earlier than they do. There isn't much communication about last call from the bar (this also includes refills for soft drinks) or last call for the kitchen. One time, we were not able to order dessert because the kitchen had closed - but our waitress never warned us of this. Most recently, we ordered/ate our food in 45 mins, which I think is very speedy, but I still felt rushed by the staff. Our server seemed more focused on cleaning than service, they turned off the music to ensure our quick exit, and stared at us as we walked out at 9:05. I really expected better service for the price of the food. Not sure if I'll be back any time soon, but I'd still recommend them for an early dinner or lunch.”

I've tried a variety of things and they have all been excellent: miso soup, a variety of sushi, tempura, house salad with ginger dressing. Items that didn't quite meet my expectations were the Avocado Salad, where everything was chopped and lumped together. The Spicy Ramen with chicken was OK, but not the best that I have had. They now have a limited bar, of just beer and wine. Note that the food comes out very fast. If you want several courses, they tend to bring everything close together. I suggest ordering the first course, then adding more on once you finish”

Not an issue at Red Pepper. The crab rangoon were some of the best I've had in a while as was the lo main and boneless ribs. The Mongolian chicken was very spicy in a good way. But I'd avoid the salt and pepper calamari. The issue wasn't that it was a fried food takeout issue, it just didn't have much flavor which was a disappointment. Can't comment on the service this time around but the place did still seem to be quiet and homey.”

“My wife and I spotted this amazing restaurant and decided to have dinner on a way to a show. We were greeted at the door with a smile and seated right away. We sat down and were approached by our waiter who took our order as staff members cleaned and cleaned and cleaned tables and chairs of parties that were leaving as we walked in and I make a point to mention that because the cleaner was pleasant smelling AAAND because the staff continued cleaning the whole time we were there. The restaurant is beautiful inside; nicely decorated with tasteful upbeat music playing in the background. The crab Rangoon was delicious as was the basil pad Thai that I had and curry chicken that my wife had. The portions were just right, they were pleasing to the eyes and more so to the palate. On our way out I mentioned to the staff member how much we enjoyed the experience and she went to get the owner with whom we chatted for quite a few minutes; she was as pleasant as pleasant can be. This little restaurant should be packed with people day in and day out!!!”

They have a nice salad bar, a decent amount of vegetarian and vegan options, a pizza section with multiple types of pizza, and an amazing dessert section. The food overall is pretty good quality, though it can be somewhat hit or miss depending on the day and the item. The desserts are probably the best part of the dining hall overall, they are very good quality. They also have an ice cream machine that usually works which is nice.”
“This evening, I went to Off The Rails in Worcester. I sat at their great bar. The service was wonderful with an attentive bartender and host. The bartender was named Jon and was very friendly. The owner/ manager is also doing a great job. The bar and restaurant is decorated with photos of Americana and Country music greats. I ordered the delicious pulled pork platter with cornbread, coleslaw, and macaroni and cheese. The pulled pork tasted fresh and flavorful, the cornbread was moist, and the coleslaw was some of the best I've ever had. The food was 18 dollars, but was sharable and worth it. I definitely want to go back when there is a band/ live music. I am giving this restaurant and music venue 5 stars.”

My husband and father in law got the OG one without Mayo though and same thing they were both amazed with the flavor, taste & freshness of the food. I was intrigued in the honey mustard bacon cheese fries so I ordered them and they were surprisingly very good! I would definitely order them again! They had a nice little kick to it because of the honey mustard! I loved them! My bf got the teriyaki sirloin tips with rice pilaf. He said it was good. I got the chicken & rice soup but I saved it for the next day and it was a typical soup. Nothing spectacular about it. I also forgot to take a photo of it because it was the next day. My meal was the chicken and broccoli alfredo pasta without the broccoli and I opted to get linguine pasta. It was very good and filling. I'd say my only complaint was the amount of oil that was in it. I had to take some napkins to it and put it in a bowl and there was still a lot of oil! All in all, I would definitely go again. I'd probably order something other than the pasta. Though it was very good I thought it was way too oily for my liking.”

“Want to George's Coney Island Lunch today for the first time ever. I have had hotdogs from a lot of different places. I would have to say I love the stuff there and the service is absolutely amazing there. The hotdogs are so freaking delicious for 1 hotdog with the works is $2.75. I give the stuff the best compliment they have heard the day today they waved me up to the count and said we enjoyed that feedback so much we want to give you a free hotdog on the house. If I could rate them 1 out of 10 stars on here I would give them 10 stars all day long. But because I can't give them 10 star on yelp I am going to give them a solid rating of 5 stars.”
