My favorite thing about them as that they always release new drinks depending on the season which makes coming always refreshing. I did RSVP a head of time, because we had 10-13 ppl joining us. This place was a comfortable atmosphere with delicious food! “We’ve lived in Worcester for almost 5 years and have tried so many restaurants. Green Island Oyster is now our favorite by far. Everything we ordered was phenomenal. The oysters were fresh and delicious, crab cakes were cooked to perfection, the green curry crab lettuce wraps were light, had just the right amount of spice and were unique, the crab Rangoon flatbread was perfect and they had the best fish and chips we’ve ever had. Service was great too. We will be recommending this place to all our friends and will definitely be back!”

The crème brûlée french toast was incredible, the bacon, smoky, and my chai was silky and had a perfect combo of spices. “Wonderful little pub with excellent beer selection and a menu with locally sourced and seasonal choices. The seasonal Bahn Mi sandwich was really tasty. The gnocchi in a red sauce (NOT marinara!) with corn was excellent and a definite twist from the ordinary.

They did close at 9:00 on the day we went, so plan for that. Also, online reservations were limited. but there were plenty of seats for our party when we walked in at around 7:00.

Pricing was reasonable given the food and beverage quality.”

They ask me to park, I understand why they want to as they are measured by ownership to be as speedy as possible and are timed on the checkouts at the drive-thru. But then the employees have to walk through the pooring rain asking cars randomly if this is their order (5 cars parked). I'm not mad that they screwed up my order at all. We were able to quickly get seats at the counter which provided us with front row seats to watch the short-order cook work his magic. The entire staff was friendly and very helpful. The menu is fantastic and the food...we all had the best French toast and homemade corned beef hash we've ever had. My son had the blueberry ricotta stuffed French toast. My husband had the King Kong French toast and I had the World Famous Crunchy French toast. We added two sides of homemade corned beef hash and one side of bacon. All. Of. It. Was. Ridiculously. Good. Including the coffee. If you feel nostalgic for a true old school diner experience, this is the place. This is an authentic Worcester Lunch Cart Mfg. “The food at Fatima's is absolutely delicious and very fresh. The owner is an amazing human being who is incredibly kind. My daughter loves a cake she makes, and Fatima was out of it on the day we were visiting the restaurant. I told the owner we would be back for cake on our next visit, when my daughter was home from college. The owner told me that there was no way my daughter was headed back to school without having her favorite cake. She made a special batch that morning, when she was not even open, in order for my daughter to enjoy it before she left. Both my daughter and I were in tears, we could not believe her incredible kindness. I hope this place succeeds greatly and is around for years to come! Fantastic service, incredible food, and kindness are a winning combination!”

(It’s been a favorite of mine for some time!) Oversized containers piled high with falafel, kibbeh, egg plant, grape leaves, rice, vegetables, as well as beef and chicken (all separated for the veggies among us, ahem!), hummus, tahini, pita bread, baklava, etc. etc.! All in the wonderful Shawarma Palace! When I worked in Saudi Arabia (Riyadh) in the 1980s, I fell in love with the orange-and-lemon-flavored shawarmas along Al Baatha Street, the central traditional thoroughfare at the time. Today, we all got to replicate those flavors at the Shawarma Palace! Hurray and hurrah!”

“I found myself in Worcester yesterday and searched for vegan food online and found Belmont Vegetarian among others listed. After seeing several pictures of dishes I decided to go! And I’m glad I did! Belmont Vegetarian (where everything is vegan) was delicious and in heaping portions. There’s a smaller (but still big) container for only $17 and change and a giant container (which I obviously got) for $19 and change. I got BBQ, mac n cheese, rice , beans, and chickpeas, and some sweet n sour steak. They also make their own delicious juice with sea moss. I got watermelon. The place is set up for takeout mostly with only 2 dining tables.Definitely worth the drive from NH!”

“Although I do recommend their food, i have a complaint that needs to be addressed by management sooner rather than later: Lost Prescription Glasses at Antonio’s – Seeking Help On Saturday, February 8, I dined at Antonio’s in Worcester and accidentally left my prescription glasses on the table. The next day, I called the restaurant, and a staff member confirmed they had found them and would set them aside for me. However, when I went to pick them up on Monday, my glasses were nowhere to be found. I asked the staff to check the security cameras, but I was told they didn’t have time, and later, another employee said the cameras wouldn’t show the seating area. I find it concerning that my glasses were supposedly found on Sunday but had disappeared by Monday. I’ve now been without my new prescription glasses for three days, and replacing them will be a costly expense since my insurance won’t cover another pair this year. I’m simply asking Antonio’s to review the camera footage to determine what happened. If they find my glasses, great—it will save me a lot of money. If not, at least I’ll know they made an effort. I’ve been a loyal customer, but I’m very disappointed by their lack of interest in helping me. I hope they reconsider and take action.”

Waitstaff both night were there every time you finished something, polite, attentive and it was a pleasure to see quick service. “My family and i do pizza Friday every week. We try and explore different places and their specialty pizza. We found i love Frankie’s online, we live in blackstone and decided to take the ride. It did not disappoint. We got a large buffalo chicken Mac and cheese with tater tot’s, the size of the slice and pizza was unbelievable! We got a medium traditional cheese, soooooooo good! The sauce was different, gave papa Gino’s with a homemade feel, huge fan. We also did the breakfast pizza, party for the tastebuds. Every pizza was made with love, looked amazing, tasted amazing, and well worth the money. The staff was so friendly. The woman who ran the front, such a warm smile greeting! Right across the side street from The Commons at Worcester City Hall! Yes! We New Englanders know how to party! _____, her husband _____, pal _____, and yours truly (all of us Leominsterites) made merry at the best middle eastern establishment around! (It’s been a favorite of mine for some time!) Oversized containers piled high with falafel, kibbeh, egg plant, grape leaves, rice, vegetables, as well as beef and chicken (all separated for the veggies among us, ahem!), hummus, tahini, pita bread, baklava, etc. etc.! All in the wonderful Shawarma Palace! When I worked in Saudi Arabia (Riyadh) in the 1980s, I fell in love with the orange-and-lemon-flavored shawarmas along Al Baatha Street, the central traditional thoroughfare at the time. Today, we all got to replicate those flavors at the Shawarma Palace! Hurray and hurrah!”

We were pleased with the large and varied selection of food offerings. This alone would have made it a pleasant experience, but we’d also like to mention what made it fantastic. Warm customer service with a smile! Also, after learning more about this business, we see that they help their community with offering free meals on Thanksgiving and they also help those who are less fortunate. We also learned they are a well-known stop for essential workers, staying open even in difficult weather. We appreciate this, as our son is a plow driver and an essential worker. The portion sizes were more than adequate and the eggplant lasagne tasted like it came from a high-end restaurant. The only disappointing thing is that I wished we lived closer!”

visited here twice. first time had their Vietnamese iced coffee - absolutely delicious. very hard to find good, authentic coffee and Hao Ngot delivered. came here again for coffee and did not disappoint!

had their che ba mau (rainbow ice/tri-color dessert). it was passable. nothing outstanding. combination of mung beans, jelly, red beans, and coconut milk was good. what was lacking, to me, was the jelly could've been more flavorful. it was pretty bland and left the rest of the ingredients to carry the weight. I would've enjoyed a sweet jelly that you can taste when eating it w coated coconut milk.

overall I do thoroughly enjoy my drinks & dessert and would definitely return. their menu is plentiful so there is always something new to try. very cutely decorated, spacious, and cleaned!”
