“We ordered 2 bacon cheeseburgers and potato skins. I was very impressed when they asked how we wanted the burgers cooked. We ordered medium and they came out perfect! All the veggies on our burgers were fresh and the bacon was thick sliced with an awesome flavor. We really enjoyed the potato skins as well. My burger was so large that I ate half and will be eating the rest of it and my potato skins for dinner. The food was prepared quickly and it came out sooner than they told me it would be ready. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I had the chance to meet the owner and he is a really nice man. Don't go by the previous reviews this place is a hidden gem! The bar has a homey "Cheers" atmosphere. I will definitely go back.“
“The staff were friendly and understood my requests related to Gluten Free options. My husband loved the Shepherd's Pie. I was very happy with the Irish Pizza appetizer.Dietary restrictions: I have a Gluten Allergy and was happy to see several options. Our server was quick to inform me that they do not use a dedicated fryer, when I asked about potato skins. The potatoes are cooked entirely in the oven to make them safe. I felt like she clearly understood my concern and was able to answer my question.I had the Reuben sandwich, which came on a Udi's roll. I think I would skip that in the future based on the roll. I'm excited to try the Pork Chop dinner. And the Irish Pizza was a lot of fun.“
“My typical Friday spot! The usual Keno, fish, and chips (which are amazing) and a friendly Bartender Heather. The atmosphere is amazing, and the staff is top notch. I would recommend any one for a great Friday lunch time spot. Great Food and Great Services!“
“First time coming here with my family and was skeptical since it was dark inside and zero windows to be found, (typical bar). My waiter seated us immediately and was extremely attentive. The food was very good and the attention to detail is amazing for a pub. For example, we ordered a wedge salad which came in a chilled plate (detail 1), the lettuce was cold (detail 2) with dressing and real bacon bits (detail 3). I ordered the Chicken McShaunessey which was fried chicken that was lightly breaded and came in a brioche bun with a special dressing, very tasty. We would come back here again if we were in the area.“
“The Worcester Public Schools’ Coats for Kids fundraiser was held here for the first time on Oct. 24. What a great venue. The food was phenomenal, room was large enough to hold the hundreds who attended with great overflow in the adjacent bar area, the friendly staff went above and beyond and the atmosphere was relaxed and inviting. Thanks for all you did to help us have a very successful evening.“
