The food was outstanding and they don’t skimp on the portions. I got the yellow tail tuna and was expecting 4 or 5 slices. Triple that! On a bed of perfectly cooked rice and mixed vegetables. We were a party of 4 and the other 3 all had the same great experience. If you love seafood, this place is a must visit.

Green Island Oyster is a cozy spot in Worcester with amazing food and great drinks, including awesome mojitos and a good variety of beer. The oysters are super fresh, with lots of varieties, and are a highlight, especially during the dollar oyster happy hour on Sundays from 12 to 3. The menu features authentic New England cuisine like the lobster roll, along with dishes such as tuna tartare with caviar, wood fired haddock, yellow fin tuna, fried shrimp bowl, and stuffed flounder. Sides include fresh vegetables, rice, and a potato pancake, and dessert offers warm apple crumble with vanilla ice cream. The chowder comes with croutons. The staff is always on point, providing awesome, kind, attentive, and knowledgeable service. The restaurant has its own parking lot and spacious seating. It is a place to return to again and again.
