“Happy Birthday, _____! Now here’s a happy twist! _____ (a leap year baby! 😉 ) treated us to her Happy Birthday celebration at the splendiferous Shawarma Palace yesterday! Right across the side street from The Commons at Worcester City Hall! Yes! We New Englanders know how to party! _____, her husband _____, pal _____, and yours truly (all of us Leominsterites) made merry at the best middle eastern establishment around! (It’s been a favorite of mine for some time!) Oversized containers piled high with falafel, kibbeh, egg plant, grape leaves, rice, vegetables, as well as beef and chicken (all separated for the veggies among us, ahem!), hummus, tahini, pita bread, baklava, etc. etc.! All in the wonderful Shawarma Palace! When I worked in Saudi Arabia (Riyadh) in the 1980s, I fell in love with the orange-and-lemon-flavored shawarmas along Al Baatha Street, the central traditional thoroughfare at the time. Today, we all got to replicate those flavors at the Shawarma Palace! Hurray and hurrah!“

“Palace Pizza went above and beyond in supporting the Many Voices: Mechanics Hall Youth Singers youth program. Their kindness helped us celebrate our young singers after a big concert, and the food was a huge hit with the students and families. The pizza was delicious, fresh, and perfect for feeding a large group. Even more importantly, their willingness to support local youth and arts programs shows the kind of community spirit that makes a real difference. We are incredibly grateful for their generosity and highly recommend Palace Pizza to anyone looking for great food and a business that truly cares about its community. “I dont usually write reviews but me and my group ordered here today through the Hot Table app. We had an issue through the app where it glitched and we called this location. “Lucians has been providing excellent food and service to downtown Worcester and surrounding areas from different locations for at least 20 years. You won't find nicer people anywhere. I'm so happy they've found a home in what's left of the old mall. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed. Great food made to order, at a great price! And now they're open for breakfast too. Excellent!“

“I just had the meatball sandwich and potato salad. Honest review....the meatballs are AMAZING, the bread was very fresh and delicious. Very messy to eat but worth every napkin used!! The potato salad had a bit more mayo than I like but it had a nice flavor and was really good. The price is very reasonable for the portion size and quality of food.“

“We love Chick-fil-a and wanted to go there to celebrate our adoption day! We were waiting for our family to arrive to order our food and Grace asked if it was someone’s birthday. Grace and Kayla made our celebration super special! They made our day extra special! The came out with a special treat and gifted us a meal. We appreciate it. Thanks Grace, Kayla, and Chick-fil-a team for all that you do!“

“My family stopped here on a road trip, as we needed a beer after several hours in the car with our 2 kids and dog, and it was PERFECT! Extremely dog-friendly (our server even brought our pup a little water bowl, and offered to make him a burger), kid-friendly (my notoriously picky eaters LOVED the chicken fingers & fries and smashburger), and adult-friendly (I had a blood orange lager and a fresh salad, my husband also got a lager and a reeeally good fried chicken sandwich). There was literally something for everyone. We don't drive through Worcester often but we'll certainly make a point to stop in again when we do!“

“Visited Sonoma for the All day brunch. The food was excellent. Bacon and sausages were delicious with perfect eggs. The creamy grits with huge prawns were also outstanding.
Chef Derek visited our table and our server Tim was friendly and attentive. They both made us feel specially welcoming. The restaurant is beautiful and the amazing water fountain outside adds a lovely atmosphere. I highly recommend Sonoma restaurant for a special brunch. Plenty of parking makes it a great place for a group to enjoy.“

“I enjoy led a wonderful tour of Italy that includes lasgna, pasta alfredo,and chicken Parm. My wife had eggplant Parm which she raved anout the crispy edges and well cooked center. We also did 2 $6 to go meals we enjoy later. Pasta alfredo and 3 cheese pasta. Yum“

“The food was outstanding and they don’t skimp on the portions. I got the yellow tail tuna and was expecting 4 or 5 slices. Triple that! On a bed of perfectly cooked rice and mixed vegetables. We were a party of 4 and the other 3 all had the same great experience. If you love seafood, this place is a must visit.“
