“Thanks to Live To Eat Food for the reminder to visit Nuovo Restaurant in Worcester. I hadn’t been back since around the time they opened—10+ years ago—& let me say, they did not disappoint. We arrived around 6 PM, & the place was buzzing with at least three Christmas parties going on, so we grabbed seats at the bar. We started with some excellent martinis, then moved on to appetizers (after the bread, of course). We had the fig–mascarpone stuffed phyllo dough & the best chicken lemon orzo soup—truly unmatched anywhere else in the city. For entrées, he had the lobster pappardelle special, & I went with pasta in vodka sauce with meatballs. We were completely stuffed but still couldn’t resist ordering the blueberry-crumble cheesecake to go. Despite how busy they were, the service was great, & everything we had was spot-on.“

“I visited here December 4, 2023. I had a delicious scallop and haddock mix over fettacchini with a spicy sauce that was to rave about. Not sure when I will get to Worcester, MA again but I will definitely visit La Cuchina. As a bonus, my server was a gentle soul, Michael. Extremely attentive and generous with his time and suggestions. He is expecting his first child, so if you are so lucky to have him serve you, please be generous, as we all know the expense of a new child. Michael have a blessed day! -James Dalton“

“Dinner on Wednesday, chicken special was amazing. Dinner Thursday was the antipasto and pizza special! Best pizza I have had in awhile. The cheese was delicious and we ordered the Mama pizza, ricotta, eggplant, cheese, and meatball. We asked they add red sauce and they did. Both of us enjoyed it. Waitstaff both night were there every time you finished something, polite, attentive and it was a pleasure to see quick service. After COVID most restaurants don’t have enough help, not here, no waiting at all. Food was a 10 out of 10!!“

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We celebrated our 35th anniversary and my husband’s 56th birthday at Joey’s Bar & Grill in Worcester, and it was perfect from start to finish. The staff went above and beyond — multiple people came by to thank us for coming, especially when they learned we had driven two hours to be there. That kind of genuine hospitality is rare and made the night extra special. Dinner started with warm homemade bread and oil for dipping. Scott had the braised short ribs, I had the steak tips with grilled veggies — both were absolutely delicious. We ended by sharing the most incredible strawberry shortcake with homemade grilled biscuits, lemon curd, strawberries, ice cream, and whipped cream (with a candle, of course!). 🍓✨ In a city with so many options, Joey’s was truly the best choice. We’ll definitely be back — even though it’s a two-hour drive, it’s absolutely worth it!“

“We were just passing through today, as we don’t live in MA. Coming from a medical appt, we wanted to refuel before hitting the road again. We stopped into the Diner, 4 of us, hungry & ready to eat. We were pleased with the large and varied selection of food offerings. This alone would have made it a pleasant experience, but we’d also like to mention what made it fantastic. Warm customer service with a smile! Also, after learning more about this business, we see that they help their community with offering free meals on Thanksgiving and they also help those who are less fortunate. We also learned they are a well-known stop for essential workers, staying open even in difficult weather. We appreciate this, as our son is a plow driver and an essential worker. The portion sizes were more than adequate and the eggplant lasagne tasted like it came from a high-end restaurant. The only disappointing thing is that I wished we lived closer!“

“First time going there. we stopped on our home back to Sturbridge. The owner is such a fantastic guy who shows pride on his business. He explained to us the ingredients and how he care about customers and let me tell you, it shows. Very tasty, tender, seasoned steak and the crust was almost to good to give any piece to my begging dog (ultimately giving in and he approved). “For the price for one container is $22 is pretty expensive plus it’s extra charge if you want garlic naan. Personally, I would go buy Indian food elsewhere where it’s not as expensive for the portion size. Though the butter chicken was really good. We got the mild, which was the perfect creaminess and flavor. The chicken was tender as well. The goat curry was also delicious and definitely had a more meater fatty taste. The garlic naan is a good size and it was cooked not too dough or not too dry. The samosas were crispy on the outside, but still soft on the inside filling and the sauce went well perfectly“
