And absolutely none of it happened. “Dinner on Wednesday, chicken special was amazing. Dinner Thursday was the antipasto and pizza special! Best pizza I have had in awhile. The cheese was delicious and we ordered the Mama pizza, ricotta, eggplant, cheese, and meatball. We asked they add red sauce and they did. Both of us enjoyed it. Waitstaff both night were there every time you finished something, polite, attentive and it was a pleasure to see quick service. After COVID most restaurants don’t have enough help, not here, no waiting at all. Food was a 10 out of 10!!“

“We've been going to Via since they opened. The recent menu changes were disappointing. Our favorite menu items were gone. The Fonduta of Italian cheeses and the veal scallopine are no longer offered and the short ribs, although still very good, are served with tortellini now, which I don't think is an improvement. Also notable is the servers at the Worcester restaurant group restaurants all seem to be new and the team serving dynamic is not as it used to be, either. We were told that there is a new head Chef, but rather than adding new menu items, they seem to have just removed some of the best ones.“

“We had our wedding rehearsal dinner/welcome party upstairs at Nuovo in August of 2022 which included almost 100 people. We could not be happier with our choice!!! The food and drinks are excellent and the staff are so hard-working and friendly. The owners are phenomenal and genuinely care about the happiness and satisfaction of their guests. We discussed our vision for the evening with Loreta in advance and she sure did help us achieve it. We had our own bar and servers, as well as a solo live singer we hired who they were easily able to accommodate. Loreta was incredibly responsive, kind, helpful, and patient. My family and I have also had dinner here and we just can’t say enough about how wonderful our several experiences have been. We will absolutely make the trip to Worcester to go back. Huge thanks to Loreta and all the other amazing staff for helping us create beautiful memories. We would HIGHLY recommend Nuovo to anyone!!“

The food was outstanding with many in my family commenting how fabulous it was. The Baked Stuffed Eggplant is my favorite....flavorful taste and so yummy! Authentic Italian Sue had the Tutto with mortadella, suppressants, Capitola, prosciutto stracciatella cheese, tomatoes, onions, pickles, hot cherry peppers and garden greens on delicious seeded bread. I had the LaGemma piadina with roast beef, tomatoes. Charred onions and herbed cheese. Both are excellent, Pictured is about a quarter of the sandwich. “I visited here December 4, 2023. I had a delicious scallop and haddock mix over fettacchini with a spicy sauce that was to rave about. Not sure when I will get to Worcester, MA again but I will definitely visit La Cuchina. As a bonus, my server was a gentle soul, Michael. Extremely attentive and generous with his time and suggestions. “We're relatively new to central MA and this is the best pizza we've found in the area, especially when we ask for extra sauce. Inside is really nice too, and staff were patient when we were in the bar area with our two little kids. We've had a few small hiccups with orders, but they're good about resolving them, and often do it proactively, which we greatly appreciate (i.e. we screwed something up, we too X dollars off your bill).“

“We always love going there. Some of the reviews I have read seem biased. I do not want my server to be engaging. That’s not professional. I want my server to serve me in a professional manner there’s a big difference. Also someone wrote it’s dark and dingy. That’s what we love. But we call it atmospheric and romantic. Bartenders are always excellent. Service never has been poor. The food was always tasty. Portions are large. They run 3 course specials that are fun if you have an appetite. It’s not a kid friendly place. Although they are not rude to kids the kids probably wouldn’t enjoy it. It’s small and tables are close together. We sat at the bar once because we didn’t have a reservation and the place was packed. We had a great time. Like the Italians say “Try it, You’ll like it” 😄 going there tonight“

“My husband and I just had our wedding at J. Anthony's. For such a large and lovely space, they could not be more reasonably priced and easy to work with. The high ceilings and that wall of windows are really a wow factor. They are currently making updates to the event space, so I can only imagine that future events will be even more fabulous. Any time I interacted with staff leading up to the event, they were so upbeat and enthusiastic. Being pleasant is obviously a part of working in the restaurant industry, but everyone always felt genuinely excited for us, which made us even more excited as the big day drew near.

We live nearby, so we already knew that they had wonderful food. We got compliments from guests on all of it, but the most talked-about items were the beef and the stuffed shells. So many people told me they regretted not requesting more stuffed shells. They really were amazing; I could have eaten an entire plate of them! A dessert was included in our package -- we chose apple crisp and it was delicious. But we also brought in apple cider donuts from a local orchard. Abbey (the event manager) was super accommodating. We just dropped them off in the morning and then arrangements of donuts on beautiful gold chargers were placed at each table during the evening.

One other point of note was how lovely the event staff was! My husband and I had multiple guests comment to us throughout the evening about the wonderful service staff. I can't imagine that is something typically noticed or commented upon at a large event, so it just highlights how personable and accommodating they all were. I was able to chat with some of the servers toward the end of the evening and they were all so kind and complimentary, it made my night even more special.“

We ordered the pasta fagioli, baked meatloaf, manicotti with meatball and sausage, and the GIANT Italian club. Everything was delicious just like Nonna would've made. Passing through Sutton and came across this place looking for a quick bite to eat. The menu was expansive, something for everyone. The portion sizes are exactly what you pay for.
I ordered a large half and half pizza, curly fries and baklava. The sauce tasted homemade, mild and not overpowering but still flavorful. The cheese pull was impressive. The curly fries were crispy and plentiful, a very large portion size for 5 dollars. The baklava was the best baklava I've had in some time.

Overall an amazing restaurant that needs to turned into a national treasure.“
