“Tried this little hidden gem for our anniversary dinner and we were not disappointed!! This resturant features authentic Italian cuisine that is super fresh and handmade at fair prices. I ordered the ribeye steak and it was perfectly cooked and tender. It was probably the best steak I have had at any resturant and it isn't even a steakhouse!! I was blown away. We got a free appetizer for it being our first time eating here and were given the bruschetta. Hands down the freshest bruschetta I ever had! The tomatoes tasted like they were picked from their own garden right outside the resturant. Everything was so fresh and tasty, and our waitress was honestly just the icing on the cake for us. She was friendly, generous and attentative of our needs! I wish i remembered her name! We spent $110 between the two of us and for the amount of food we ordered we felt it was a fair price! I definitely will be coming back potentially for my birthday dinner in a few weeks just because I can't stop thinking about that bruschetta! 😆 thank you guys for a wonderful experience ❤“

“I visited here December 4, 2023. I had a delicious scallop and haddock mix over fettacchini with a spicy sauce that was to rave about. Not sure when I will get to Worcester, MA again but I will definitely visit La Cuchina. As a bonus, my server was a gentle soul, Michael. Extremely attentive and generous with his time and suggestions. “Thanks to Live To Eat Food for the reminder to visit Nuovo Restaurant in Worcester. I hadn’t been back since around the time they opened—10+ years ago—& let me say, they did not disappoint. We arrived around 6 PM, & the place was buzzing with at least three Christmas parties going on, so we grabbed seats at the bar. We started with some excellent martinis, then moved on to appetizers (after the bread, of course). We had the fig–mascarpone stuffed phyllo dough & the best chicken lemon orzo soup—truly unmatched anywhere else in the city. For entrées, he had the lobster pappardelle special, & I went with pasta in vodka sauce with meatballs. We were completely stuffed but still couldn’t resist ordering the blueberry-crumble cheesecake to go. Despite how busy they were, the service was great, & everything we had was spot-on.“

“Dinner on Wednesday, chicken special was amazing. Dinner Thursday was the antipasto and pizza special! Best pizza I have had in awhile. The cheese was delicious and we ordered the Mama pizza, ricotta, eggplant, cheese, and meatball. We asked they add red sauce and they did. Both of us enjoyed it. Waitstaff both night were there every time you finished something, polite, attentive and it was a pleasure to see quick service. After COVID most restaurants don’t have enough help, not here, no waiting at all. Food was a 10 out of 10!!“

The staff went above and beyond — multiple people came by to thank us for coming, especially when they learned we had driven two hours to be there. That kind of genuine hospitality is rare and made the night extra special. Dinner started with warm homemade bread and oil for dipping. Scott had the braised short ribs, I had the steak tips with grilled veggies — both were absolutely delicious. We ended by sharing the most incredible strawberry shortcake with homemade grilled biscuits, lemon curd, strawberries, ice cream, and whipped cream (with a candle, of course!). 🍓✨ In a city with so many options, Joey’s was truly the best choice. We’ll definitely be back — even though it’s a two-hour drive, it’s absolutely worth it!“

The owner, Lisa, is delightful and spent time chatting with us while she had a moment. Excellent prices, perfect portions, and just plain outstanding food!! We will be back again and again!“

“We were just passing through today, as we don’t live in MA. Coming from a medical appt, we wanted to refuel before hitting the road again. We stopped into the Diner, 4 of us, hungry & ready to eat. We were pleased with the large and varied selection of food offerings. This alone would have made it a pleasant experience, but we’d also like to mention what made it fantastic. Warm customer service with a smile! Also, after learning more about this business, we see that they help their community with offering free meals on Thanksgiving and they also help those who are less fortunate. We also learned they are a well-known stop for essential workers, staying open even in difficult weather. We appreciate this, as our son is a plow driver and an essential worker. The portion sizes were more than adequate and the eggplant lasagne tasted like it came from a high-end restaurant. The only disappointing thing is that I wished we lived closer!“

“Absolutely NOT !!! We ordered our food before 3 other customers who came in to eat in like us . I ordered a chicken salad my husband ordered a cheeseburger sub waited 20 mins still no food but the other 3 customers got their food one had a pizza one had chicken finger dinner and one had a steak and cheese. All of which were as quick as our order but i believe a pizza and fried chicken wings should of taken longer then a cheeseburger 🍔“

“For the price for one container is $22 is pretty expensive plus it’s extra charge if you want garlic naan. Personally, I would go buy Indian food elsewhere where it’s not as expensive for the portion size. Though the butter chicken was really good. We got the mild, which was the perfect creaminess and flavor. The chicken was tender as well. The goat curry was also delicious and definitely had a more meater fatty taste. The garlic naan is a good size and it was cooked not too dough or not too dry. The samosas were crispy on the outside, but still soft on the inside filling and the sauce went well perfectly“
