Right across the side street from The Commons at Worcester City Hall! Yes! We New Englanders know how to party! _____, her husband _____, pal _____, and yours truly (all of us Leominsterites) made merry at the best middle eastern establishment around! (It’s been a favorite of mine for some time!) Oversized containers piled high with falafel, kibbeh, egg plant, grape leaves, rice, vegetables, as well as beef and chicken (all separated for the veggies among us, ahem!), hummus, tahini, pita bread, baklava, etc. etc.! All in the wonderful Shawarma Palace! When I worked in Saudi Arabia (Riyadh) in the 1980s, I fell in love with the orange-and-lemon-flavored shawarmas along Al Baatha Street, the central traditional thoroughfare at the time. Today, we all got to replicate those flavors at the Shawarma Palace! Hurray and hurrah!“

“The food was outstanding and they don’t skimp on the portions. I got the yellow tail tuna and was expecting 4 or 5 slices. Triple that! On a bed of perfectly cooked rice and mixed vegetables. We were a party of 4 and the other 3 all had the same great experience. If you love seafood, this place is a must visit.“

“Honestly, one of the better food and hangout spots go land in Worcester in recent memory. It's walkable from the WPI campus, has a bus stop nearby, and has parking. The food is Nu Kitchen-esque with healthy options and fusion -style cuisine.

The prices are a little high for student affordability but the food quality is still great so it doesn't hurt as much.“

Extremely dog-friendly (our server even brought our pup a little water bowl, and offered to make him a burger), kid-friendly (my notoriously picky eaters LOVED the chicken fingers & fries and smashburger), and adult-friendly (I had a blood orange lager and a fresh salad, my husband also got a lager and a reeeally good fried chicken sandwich). The potato salad had a bit more mayo than I like but it had a nice flavor and was really good. The price is very reasonable for the portion size and quality of food.“

I ordered a chicken salad my husband ordered a cheeseburger sub waited 20 mins still no food but the other 3 customers got their food one had a pizza one had chicken finger dinner and one had a steak and cheese. All of which were as quick as our order but i believe a pizza and fried chicken wings should of taken longer then a cheeseburger 🍔“

The restaurant is very clean, well-maintained, and clearly well taken care of. My order is correct every time, which I really appreciate. “I want to make some suggestions rather than saying I do or don’t recommend this place. I’m familiar with Pepper’s, and I like to support hard-working chefs, especially when they use local farms and vendors. The overall concept of self-service is fine, but I preferred the table service of the old restaurant. It felt a little more closed in, and I also don’t like the paper plates, cups, and plastic utensils. Real utensils were available, though. The salad choices looked really healthy and colorful, and the menu was certainly varied enough. I saw a frittata being served and it was the size of a half piece of pie, though it looked good. My friends and I opted for soup and grilled cheese sandwiches, thinking they would be more like upscale comfort food. Two of us had the bacon-tomato version, the other had the mushroom. Since they were pre-made, then popped in a convection oven, they were more like melted cheese on dry, light toast, versus the buttery, golden goodness that makes a grilled cheese what its name implies. The portion was small and the fillings meager. If the idea was to make it a healthier grilled cheese, even a drizzle of olive oil might help. The soup was luke-warm, but tasty enough. We shared a dessert bar, which was delicious, with black coffee, which didn’t taste fresh like it had ben sitting a while. Be forewarned that if you pay by credit card, an automatic 15 percent tip is added, though you have the option to change it up or down, if you happen to notice it. There wasn’t much service involved, and you clear your own table. My portion alone, which included the sandwich with chips, a cup of soup, dessert bar, and coffee, plus added tip came to just under twenty dollars. I would give it another shot, but there is room for improvement. We all agreed that the dining experience was at a grade of about C+. Wishing you success in the future... Hope this helps.“

“I'm a Midwesterner up in Massachusetts for work, so I've consumed my fair amount of Chicken Bacon Ranch pizzas. I am very very glad to say that Athens Pizza & Grill absolutely did it justice. “I always get food from here and coffees. From my favorites; souffles, chicken Frontega, salads, caramelized latte and my new FAVORITE - Their Hot Chai latte!!!! So goooddd! Can't beat their Chai latte (or lattes in general).

“We had a birthday party with 20 guests. They set us up in the back room mostly private. We had 2 waitresses and they moved quickly to get everyone's drink orders. Once the guest arrived they coordinated everyone's orders on separate checks. The food was excellent and everyone had plenty of it. We were allowed to bring in cupcakes and balloons. The staff also brought over desert for the birthday person and sang to her. The staff also helped everyone with paying the individual bills on the device. Very attentive staff. 1 mistake with a dessert order which was fixed immediately at no cost. Good food, good service and our waitresses weere great“

“I enjoy led a wonderful tour of Italy that includes lasgna, pasta alfredo,and chicken Parm. My wife had eggplant Parm which she raved anout the crispy edges and well cooked center. We also did 2 $6 to go meals we enjoy later. Pasta alfredo and 3 cheese pasta. Yum“

“I came here for lunch the other day with my husband. It was beautiful, my waiter Dante was very quick to greet us with a smile and offered us a drink. I got a lemon drop martini & it was one of the best I’ve had! Dante was very attentive and made sure to tend to our every need, he went above and beyond to ensure our experience was excellent !“

I don’t know today when I went back to Panera bread the girl with the yellow nails was so nice to me, she is a great worker, but come to find out, the nice Brazilian girl in the kitchen said you complains last time and you made the girl cry I said how did I complain I never complained! Maybe she was just having a bad day but not because of me! I felt kind of off guard when I went to pick up my food, So again if you can’t handle the pressure don’t work at Panera bread! It’s my money and I spend it where I want to spend it I work hard for it so Customer is always right I wasn’t rude I was always pleasant every time I come here or anywhere I go me and my service dog! I like an apology from Panera bread this is a palling very disturbing! If I ask for something extra I pay extra for it bottom line the customers always right, if you want them to return! Treat them well, & leave your problems at home don’t bring them to work with you blaming others that your upset with them when in fact it’s something else that’s going on in your life! I did not treat her badly at all! For the record the rest of the staff is very nice, but when the girl started crying of course I felt very bad for her I thought someone died in her family or something no one told me that she was upset with me! Course I feel still feel bad for the poor girl maybe somethings happening in her life that she took it out on me on the customer don’t bring your problems to work! I hope that the manager talks to the girl to comfort her what ever she is upset with! But I know it was not me!“

“I have been a regular at Millbury Panera Bread for many years and always was very impressed with the service, in particular Amanda Mills. She has been an outstanding attribute to Panera bread and we, as customers absolutely loved her, she was so accommodating and friendly to all. However, unfortunately, she has been mistreated by the management and was put in a position in which she was forced to quit due to a challenging situation. I would hope all employees, especially outstanding would be treated with the respect they are due to in the future~ Thank you!“
