Rice Violet used to be a consistent 'go-to' when I was attending college in Worcester! To this day, I continue to stop at Rice Violet as I pass through MA. Highly recommend to those looking for great Thai!
The place was jammed and people were going in and out with take out orders so I waited until the rush was over and went in for a sit down bite to eat! Service was quick and to the point! The pricing was on par with most establishments serving Thai food but the portion was huge! I had the Basil Pad Thai with Shrimp with peanut sauce on the side and it was delicious!!! Every time I eat here, either take out or in restaurant, the food is outstanding!! Consistently great! It's a casual atmosphere and the service is always excellent. My favorites are the red curry and the basil combo with chicken. And I always get the rice violet instead of the boiled white rice. Favorite apps are pork dumpling and crab rangoon. Sooo good.
