Having been to both India and Nepal, I can say whole heartedly, this is one of the best South Asian restaurants I've ever experienced.

Desi | Bar & Grill offers some of the finest Indian cuisine in Worcester. The food is fantastic, with exceptional flavors, and the dishes are freshly prepared. The seasoning is always on point, and the dishes can have a real kick of spice if you so wish. The variety of options is great, including an amazing lunch variety with fruits, meats, and all you can eat. The staff is prompt, friendly, and helpful.
Specific meals stand out. The Nepalese Goat Curry is really good and can be requested extra extra spicy. The fish Biryani is also really good. The naan is among the best, the different stews are loved, and the momos are delightful. The Baingan Bharta - the one eggplant dish - is outstanding, with a hint of smokiness in the flavor. The restaurant is highly recommend for any vegetarians passing through Worcester.
The establishment is conveniently located at the corner of the plaza, adjacent to the post office, in an unassuming spot. It is locally owned. Lunch buffets are available as well. This place is very good and worth coming to as long as they are in business.
