The drinks and food were excellent and the bar staff were very kind. I’d recommend trying to make a reservation for weekends, but we had no issue getting in on a Thursday night.“

“I had a great time at Valentino’s during my night out in Worcester. Bruno, who served us, was kind and attentive, even as the bar got busier. He made sure we were well taken care of, which we really appreciated. It was clear he was working hard to keep everything running smoothly.

One of the highlights for me was ordering a drink that came with a cute rubber ducky floating in it. It was such a fun touch, and it brought a smile to both my friend and boyfriend’s faces. Little details like that really added to the enjoyment of the night.

Joe, another bartender, also stood out. When I had to step away briefly, he kindly kept my drink behind the bar until I returned. Even though he was busy, he made sure everyone at the bar was having a good time, which made a big difference.

The DJ, Brecko, played an amazing mix of music that had everyone dancing and singing along. The vibe was lively, and the music made it easy to relax and enjoy the evening, whether you were dancing or just chatting with friends.

Then once you step out the back door it feels like you have entered an enchanted forest decorated in strings lights with majgical fairys bringing you beer and meatball sandwiches. I drove all the way from Dover NH to sink my teeth into 2 meatball + sausage sandwiches & 2 beers. Well, really to see my old friend and visit with her friends. “I was staying at the Beechwood hotel and stopped by Sonoma early in the morning looking for coffee. Gigi greeted me with a smile and assured me I’d love theirs. It was incredible- dark, rich, and so smooth without a hint of bitterness! I seriously could not wait for the next morning- for both the coffee and getting to chat with Gigi again! “I’m a Worcester native but now live in RI. I’m so proud coming back home and seeing all the changes. The mercantile building itself and concept is fabulous however all depends where you sit. We were first flood in the middle which was not the best. I recommend top floors or by the window. Love the key chain that donates to local charities . We came for my frisks birthday and I told the server this - server didn’t even say happy birthday nor was their cake or anything brought out. Pretty cheap for a place like this. We each got margaritas- the cocktails have way too many sugary ingredients first sign that drinks aren’t well made. I asked for drinks to be made a specific way and they accommodated . The food was very good pickle pizza to die for!!! The server asked if I would leave some e yea so she could have it??? Very shocking. The staff all looked miserable and are not welcoming. Overall the mercantile missed the mark. Step it up with better staff and a more experienced mixologist!“
