Please work on customer service, to walk into the establishment for the first time this evening to not be greeted then asked if I had a call in order to which I replied no then told we’re almost out of everything and closing shortly WHAT!!?? I replied ok & left…Never again. If that is how you run business no problem however, at least post it online (no orders past 630) so people don’t rush after work with a taste for soul food to receive a lack of service. Lastly, a clear sign on the outside identifying the restaurant would be helpful when trying to locate. NOTE: inaccurate rating for food being that I didn’t taste but had to select an option though service will always trump the food for me

What a perfect spot, let me tell ya.
We tried Addie lees for the first time and it was so perfect and what my partner and I had been looking for that we came back the next day. Right by the Hanover, I wish there was a bigger sign for the shop because this place deserves ALL the attention. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the music is the perfect mix of chill and fun, it makes you feel at home waiting for your dinner. The food was NEXT. LEVEL. you could tell there’s love in that kitchen because wow.. Perfection. The smothered pork chops and the ribs. Unbelievable. Could not recommend this place more!

Passion and excitement in the food is no longer there. Potato salad,
My favorite side dish tastes too whipped with old mayo.

Really good bbq. Had them at a woosox game. 4 baby back bones and fries for 15 bucks. Not to spicy and very meaty. 5 bucks for candied yams that were awesome.

Food: the chicken was cooked to the perfect tenderness and crispy skin. I also enjoyed it with the barbecue sauce as well. The mac & cheese has a nice balance to cheese and noodle, but could be a bit more creamy cheesey and the collard greens were made with just the right amount of salt/vinegar. Unfortunately, I wasn’t the fan of a cornbread. It was a little bit dry to my liking, and it wasn’t quite sweet enough either.

Service: nice folks that have been in the business for years, def have serve themselves a spot on the community.

Ambiance: it’s a rather old school building that brings an old jazz to it, almost like a cafeteria in the 50’s. However, they don’t really have a sign to show you where this is so you just wanna look for a brick building that has the address number for you to actually find it.

Location accommodation: it’s near the Worcester Hanover, which is nice if you ever want some good soul food, but also parking is not so great and so you may need to take a little walk down.

This is an outstanding soul food spot. They give huge portions and everything is delicious. My only complaint is that I wish they were open later.

Absolute fire. Every single thing. I tried the chicken thigh, catfish, yellow rice, collard greens, Mac and cheese, yams, cornbread and the banana pudding. Every single thing was so delicious and clearly made with love and skills. Thank you Addi Lee for feeding and teaching your family. Thank you to the owner for this delicious food. I unfortunately do not live close, but will be dying to go here whenever nearby. RUN do not walk to Addi Lee’s Soul Food. The one thing that could use improvement is the takeout containers. Everything kinda spilled liquid out of the trays while traveling, but that’s just a minor inconvenience to attain this food.

First time here. Found it on Google. Food 10/10 had the pork ribs, yams, and collard greens. My wife had the fried chicken, yams, collard greens, and mac & cheese. We both loved our meals. The prices were awesome, too. Highly recommend if you're in the area.
