I used to get my food from the akra girl on grafton st, but its been a long time i really want to give this place a try. I've order delivery and the food so dissapointed, i order waakye with beef and fish. The beef is totally inedible, so hard to chew. The fried fish is also very dry, the only thing i can eat is just the rice :(

I never been treated so badly before. I went we my family to have dinner and when they served us they add water which we did not order and thought that it was complementary. waters got added to the bill and when I asked why the guy at counter rudely responded by saying that I drank it and I have to pay it; I asked him if we order water and he said we should have sent them back. Instead of apologize and saying maybe that they should have told us that we were supposed to pay, he started to shout at me by saying that I think that I am smart.

Anokye Krom is a very popular restaurant in Worcester. They specialize in African cuisines. Ghanaian foods dominate their menu though. The waiters and waitresses have excellent customer service skills.Waakye, kenkey with fish, jollof with chicken, goat meat, yam, rice balls, banku with groundnut soup etc are always available. They offer catering services for all programmed; weddings, funerals, parties. They are not very reliable when it comes to placing orders on phone.
Vegetarian options: Inform the chef and he will sort you out.
Dietary restrictions: You can inform them of your restrictions and your needs would be met by the chef.If you don’t like spicy ?️ food, inform them before you place your order.
Parking: Lots of parking space.
Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly with lots of space to keep the kids active.
Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible entrance

The service was nice and they attended to our time. The meat was a bit tough to chew and the rice was a little dry, spice is tolerable on the rice plate. Fried chicken was good, it’s very typical. The fufu is limited to what they make during each day, so they do not serve everything that’s on the menu daily as it says. Make sure you let them know if you want less spice because the fufu was really spicy, just spice but not flavor.

We had a lovely host who helped us sort out what to try on the menu. There were so many options and we wanted to get a variety of tastes without going over budget. Due to Bennie’s (sp) patience, we got yummy dishes for a great price. And free waters for our first visit while we waited for them to make or to go orders. Worth the drive to get a taste of Ghana. Thanks for making our Christmas Eve easier. :)

Just left this place.. terrible customer service. My friends and I waited 1.5 hours after ordering before finally deciding to leave. They are out of almost every single food item, so what’s the point of a menu? The prices of the food on the menu are $6-8 less than what the worker said (wouldn’t have known if I didn’t ask). How can we as Africans progress or even be taken seriously in the food/service industry if we continue to underperform Hispanic, Asian, American restaurants? There were no attempts made to offer complimentary food or even give an update on the food. Just sad.
Great place for your African
