Had a shawarma plate and some falafels with a friend Falafel, definitely terrible taste and very greasy. can't call it that period! Hummus, kind of sour and no tahini or garlic flavors. Overall not good similar to canned stuff! Salad, ok and fresh but no home flavor. shawarma, dry and not flavorful. Garlic sauce, best on plate but ok nothing crazy! Bad for culture! gave them two stars and I was being generous! Price for plate is ok considering what you're getting it's expensive specially when adding the greasy balls (falafel) cost!

We got a medium baklava mix tray and it was amazing!! Even our greek friend commented on how good it was. reasonable prices ($10 for a big sharable tray) and everyone was friendly! Definitely recommend

We’ve been frequenting BayState bakery for many years and the food has been good but in the last two years the quality of the meals has deteriorated. Today we ordered the chicken shawarma platter. The chicken was too dry. It was like eating cardboard. The pickles were unbearable salty. The hummus was runny and salty and tasted like tahini. The only things good on the plate were the rice, little salad and garlic sauce. We also ordered the loubeih. It was very oily and the green beans were overcooked. Used to love this place but don’t think I’ll be coming back. Other people I know have had similar experience there. Hopefully they make some changes soon.

The spinach pie is amazing. Freshly baked and full of flavor. And the baklava is crispy and sweet--just right. Also, the people who work there seem just lovely. I highly recommend this place.
