Very yummy, decent prices. I got the loaded and it was good, the bagels were very fresh and had a good bounce back! The carrot cake cupcake was good, the cake was moist but fell apart easily. The matcha was okay, it needed to be sweetened, they didn't ask about sweetness, unsure if I should have said something when ordering but it still tasted very fresh and good quality matcha.

I went for coffee and ended up with coffee and some delicious pastries. The latte was perfect and not overly sweet like most places. The pastries had so much flavor with out it feeling heavy and loaded with butter and sugar. I will need to return to try more treats and coffee.

Decided to stop by for a sweet treat, I've been here a few times to get stuff from the counter and it has always been tasty. The most recent time I went, I decided to try their specialty mocha drink frozen (Purple Cow) and WOW. I loved it!! Just the right amount of sweet, and so smooth. And they have some beautiful looking cakes too.

This place has a few good items, but if you get anything more than a coffee and a sandwich, the price starts to add up quickly. I don't highly recommend it, simply because it felt too pricey for the quality of what I was getting. Everything was good. It's just not amazing.

I don't like writing unfavorable reviews but this one was necessary. I purchased a vanilla birthday cake for a co-worker yesterday. To my surprise it was chocolate which was not what I ordered due to another co-worker having a chocolate allergy. I wasn't present when the cake was cut otherwise I would had returned it bc not everyone could enjoy it. When I called to let them know of the error nothing was done to correct it, it was not my error but yet nothing other than an apology was offered. This was the first of three birthdays in the next 2 wks in my office to which I would have purchased all from the Bean Counter after such a disappointing response I will not be returning.

Their other store on Highland St. is closer to my house; but this location has a much larger bakery offering. Also, plenty of free parking at this location. Everything is consistently good at both locations (quality of food, service and cafe environment). See other reviewer comments regarding catering and other specific services that are offered.
If you're looking for a great eclair, this is the place to get it. They also have a wonderful selection of specialty coffee drinks!

Purchased a gluten free strawberry snowflake cake for my wife's birthday. Was by far the best gluten free cake we have ever had in the last 10+ years of her having a celiac allergy. Was slightly sticker shocked at first with it being almost $70.00 but this is one of those situations that you get what you pay for.
Bunch of other gluten free pastry style products for purchase as well if walking in for a coffee.

Normally I have a positive experience here but I recently purchased a fruit tart that had mold on it. I came back to get a replacement and the owner immediately asked me if I had left it in my car while scrutinizing my photo and seemed overall upset and did not apologize. All I asked for was a replacement. He even tried to act like it wasn’t mold and said it couldn’t be. But yes, I left it in my car and even put it under a heat lamp to grow some fuzzy friends for my great fruit tart heist.

Picked up my son’s vegan graduation cake. It was a vanilla cake with the strawberry snowflake filling. The cake was absolutely delicious and everyone raved about it. All of your baked goods are the best quality and your vegan selection is always delicious.
