Bedlam Book Café is an amazing place! It’s cozy, chill, and full of good vibes. The coffee shop inside makes it even better I had a cappuccino and it was very tasty. The lady at the coffee shop was very professional and nice. I definitely recommend this place!
I try to support independent bookstores. I have come here several times. Today was a big disappointment. I was looking for The Wild Robot. I asked the cashier/owner where the children’s books where, I looked in the area and I did not see it. I asked her if they had it and she said ‘we do not have an electronic inventory.’ I said ‘that’s fine, can you please help me look?’ And she again said ‘we do not have an electronic inventory’. I asked her to help me look in the shelves and I guess she was too busy because she just told me to ‘browse’. No offer to order it for me, etc. I’ll just get it from Amazon. They really need to be more helpful here. They also should get some more modern children’s books: they seem to mostly have old stuff (a lot of Dr. Seuss) there are a lot of good modern children’s books out there and they are missing out. I honestly expected more from an independent book store, something along the lines of ‘we might not have this book, but have you heard of this other book???!! Similar theme etc..’. Independent book stores need to do more than just ‘not being Amazon’ if they want to have foot traffic and sales.
Great coffee. Good prices on an extensive selection of books
Fair selections and excellent coffee as well as service
A comfy bookstore and cafe. It has a great selection of books in general and a superb poetry section, curated by the owner, a poetry MFA. I found it more inviting and comfortable than the Grolier Poetry Book Shop in Cambridge, which has to contend with a small space. I think that Bedlam's poetry selection, if not as wide as Grolier's, is in some important places deeper. And the cafe is a great feature. It's nice to be able to sit and relax over a cuppa.
It’s a cute place! The smoothies are delicious
I loved this little place.
Nestled in a building full of other dangerous shops for your wallet is this jewel.
Inside, you can find books you never knew you needed down to your most niche interest.
The cafe drinks and snacks were delicious, and everyone inside are super friendly.
This is gonna be a mainstay of every Worcester trip
this is a really lovely bookstore!!! great selection and reasonable prices. my only issue was that the music playing was really off-putting and almost eerie, and it made me not want to be in there lol. i’ve been here once before and the same type of music was playing
Got cold cappuccino. But drank it anyway, didn’t want to make big deal. Cafe close early 6 pm on Saturday. Bummer. But it has a good selection of books, you can grab a book hopefully hot cappuccino and read.
Rude front desk lady and unhelpful. You can find the same books on Amazon for cheaper.

Nice and well-organized book cafe in the area! The books and prices are reasonable but the coffee is not my favorite.
Excellent bookstore, beautifully curated! Was especially impressed by the poetry section.
Great selection of books and a great atmosphere. the owners are very helpful with any questions. Love this place!
Best bathroom in the bookstore business.(Also the books and coffee are 10/10.)
A gem! Left with some really good, really affordable finds ?
