First time visiting Bennie’s. I liked the neighborhood atmosphere. Yes it’s small and old but I felt that if I went more often ‘Everyone would know my name’.My husband and I ordered nachos. So good. I only wished there was more salsa served with them. Some place I've been wanting to try after seeing a few good reviews. I stopped in to and ordered a Ruben sandwich.I was a bit surprised as I was thinking Bennie's was more a a sit-down deli type restaurant. It's not, definitely more of a neighborhood pub and a bit on the grungy side. Came here to do some work on my laptop, i got the chicken noodle soup (soup of the day) and a sandwich. For how busy the place was, the service i received was TOP NOTCH. Everyone/Staff was SO friendly, the general vibes were cool, and the prices literally cannot be beat. I’ve lived in this neighborhood my entire life and never thought to check out this place, and I’m so glad I finally did. Will definitely be coming back????
