I have to get on here and agree with others as far as the structure of this concept to tip prematurely. After seating ourselves, obviously ordering for ourselves, retrieving our own silverware, and napkins.

We were greeted with a “did you mean to order 4 drinks” she scoffs under her breath. We eagerly exclaim yes! “That way we can have -“ already gone. She just dropped off drinks and sucked the life out of the brunch. I have not many regrets in life. But tipping an outrageous amount for a cafeteria experience is one of them.

Not sure why our little angry evil food dropper off girl chose to energy vampire our days for no reason.

In short, tip culture made this experience worse than needed. I hate that evil thing in red sweater. Shame on you go work at the DMV

I used to love Birch Tree years ago, pre-pandemic. Their prices were fair and their food and drinks were amazing every time. I noticed changes in the food once there was a change in ownership. I used to love getting their toasts, but on 2 occasions now I’ve had burnt toast for the triple berry toast (picture 1) and another time sad, soggy avocado toast with no flavor. Losing a customer outweighs the lost cost of not using the burnt toast, just get a new toast instead of building the whole spread on a bad foundation. Their prices have also almost doubled since 2019 (picture 2). I understand Covid costs and inflation, but I also work in a similar place as Birch Tree (fresh breads, everything made in house, using local as much as possible, high volume, etc) for years and we managed to not double our prices. I’m sorry but I’m not paying $17 for a deli meat sandwich.

The food wasn't good. The truffle fries were way too hard and the flavoring wasn't right. The turkey sandwich i got was okay though the flavor for that wasn't right either. The cold brew was alright but nothing memorable. This restaurant isn't quite a restaurant and not quite an internet friendly cafe either. I order the food myself like a cafe but it's not really the type of place that feels welcoming to a day of remote work. Service was good, and atmosphere was ok. Overall, this place is not for me. 3/5

Great food, but when it gets busy, it can be hectic and disorganized. They brought out our food one dish at a time for a group of 6, and some of the orders were incorrect, so we had to wait quite a long time for them to fix their mistakes. In total it took 50 minutes to get all our food. They did give a refund for the dish that was missed, but it was still irritating.

The staff here are literally the nicest people. Came in crying my eyes out having the worst mental health day. Just wanted a place to sit while I wait for my ride and they gave me a coffee for my troubles. Idk how the food is but based on how they took care of me I'd give it more stars if I could. Thank you guys ❤️

Nice, clean industrial environment. Pizza and sandwiches. First time, enjoyed the intense flavor of the sandwiches and the pizza Ordered using qr code. You can also order direct from counter. For delivered quickly and extremely fresh. Staff polite, and on top of things.

Staff was very nice.
Minestrone soup was flavorless, fresh fries too salty. Too much butter on grilled cheese.

Love the place! The food was so tasty. We went with 8 of us in total. We were able to sit at a long table and order our food online or at the counter.

Nice breakfast menu and fun communal dining loft space. Three of us stopped by for a quick bite which unfortunately wasn’t so quick. The salmon on bread was delicious and the cut fries are great. The dry brioche roll (w/ egg sandwich)we were served totally missed its prime although overall a fun experience.

I was reluctant to provide a review for this place because I don't want it to be too crowded when I go to Worcester. But that's not the way I roll, so... the place was excellent. Really cool eccentric atmosphere and the food was terrific. The Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. It's also connected to a lot of really cool shops that you can check out before or after you eat. There's parking in the back and then an entrance to the left of a patio, no sign though, and then you go up the stairs and the restaurants on the right. People say the bread is awesome also. We'll get some next time we go. Kudos to the owners, they seem to be doing an excellent job!

Parking: On street parking is free on Sundays.
There's plenty of on street parking around, however it can be difficult to find. And you might need to walk a little bit, also the lot in the back can have limited parking.
During the week the parking is pay at a parking kiosk. Maximum 2 hours.
