A charming place for quick food! It's on the smaller side but that just means your food comes faster. Staff were all very nice, and the prices were great! A friend and I got 2 sandwiches, french fries, and an app for $40. I recommend the cranberry chicken salad sandwich and mozzarella sticks. Parking can be a little difficult, but I wouldn't let it sway you against coming here.

Food was amazing and our waitress was so polite, kind and very patient when the kids got restless. The night ended on a bad note as what I think was a manager started shouting at our waitress calling her stupid, going off about napkins and silverware. Completely unprofessional and extremely rude and could've been dealt with better. We won't be back unless something is done about the manager! She either needs more training or an office job! Preferably the latter. No one should be spoken too like that in a public setting.

Came with some of my friends recently. Classic diner car experience with small narrow booths - good for up to 4 people. Had the breakfast combo - everything was good. We also split some fries and toast. The server wasn’t the most attentive so it took some time to get what we asked for (butter, refills, etc). Parking can be tight (street parking). Excited to check out more diners in the Worcester area!

Been eating here off and on for the past decade. Used to come to Worcester from Clinton for a number of years. Started with late night, after the bar, meals that were the perfect drunk food. My go to was the American chop suey.
Then I eventually moved here and started coming for the occasional breakfast or lunch and it never disappointed. The old school diner atmosphere mixed with a good variety of meal types and fair pricing have always made me love this place.

I've been traveling the country for over a decade eating breakfast at over a hundred different restaurants boulevard diner is the worst breakfast experience I've ever had! Waitress pours me and my daughter coffee 10 minutes goes by she asked if we want a refill my kid says yes I said I'm good with what I have she came and took mine anyways and never brought it back 10 minutes later I had to ask for my coffee back then she brings out my grilled English for me 10 minutes before my breakfast is ready now the grilled English is cold breakfast is ready the waitress says here you go from the other side of the counter to where we had to get up and get our own food shouldn't they be delivering it to the table! So my breakfast shows up big bully I told her my English is cold so she warms up my grilled English comes back and I told her my eggs are not how I ordered them I want it over medium she gave me over easy so she takes the plate back re-cooks the eggs now my English muffin is cold again! Was about to take my first bite and my daughter said look at the black hairs on your plate there was literally three black hairs on my plate disgusting! And not once did a waitress come to see how things were I literally had to get up and go talk to the waitress multiple times first time I've ever had breakfast that I couldn't eat and refused to leave a tip! Beautiful diner but these waitresses are horrible horrible waitresses!

only place I know to get breakfast all day long around here !
Jimmy the owner is a remarkable guy. I called there to inquire about feeding our visiting college lacrosse team. To say Jimmy his daughter and their staff went above and beyond is an understatement! Our guys got the most amazing half loaf Italian bread hot subs! It’s not easy to fill up athletes but the Boulevard Diner did it! Jimmy was so kind and generous to help us feed 60 guys like it was nothing!! His prices were fair and he accommodated all of our needs including food allergies etc!
Worcester as a community is better for the George Family and this diner!!

THE GOAT; The rain pours at darkest night, my legs are weak and the cold makes my heart feel bleak, despite all my might, it looks like I will die. But in the far corner of my eye, boulevard diner enters my sight.

Had a fantastic experience here! The food was great—everything tasted fresh and came out fast. The staff was super friendly, prices were very reasonable, and the overall vibe was exactly what you want from a classic diner. I hadn’t had a real diner experience in a while, and this one totally hit the spot. Parking was easy too, even with all the snow, which was a nice bonus. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!
Classic americana diner experience. Great prices, good selection. Had the fat boy burger, everything was pitch perfect. Egg cooked just right, veggies were fresh, coffee was strong. Served quickly and pleasantly. Ill be back again.

The people that run the boulevard diner have a special place in heaven reserved for them. One night a couple nights ago after a marathon stay by the side of my mother at UMass, I was hungry and I was looking for a place to grab something quick prior to going home to Providence. I always remember the boulevard as being a place that is warm and inviting and always has good food at the ready. I haven't been to the boulevard in a while since moving from Massachusetts to Providence but my wife and I were somewhat of a regular here. Upon entering the diner I was greeted by a bunch of regulars there and we all struck up a conversation. I told them that my mother was not well and it was a matter of time before she passed. I cannot even put into words just the kind words and the support that I felt from these people that night. Erica, who is just a fantastic individual, prepared my food with the help of the other woman behind the counter talking about different things and making my very somber mood very light. I spoke to another regular there who showed me pictures of his dog and we had a great conversation all the while enjoying the delicious food that was served up for me. The boulevard diner is a fixture on the Worcester landscape but there is a lot about this place many people don't know. Many people don't know that these people are the salt of the Earth and that they are extremely kind. Many people don't know that they quietly help out those in need when it comes to food and having something hot to eat especially on these very cold New England days. You never hear them talk about any of this. They do things quietly and they are genuine human beings. Later that morning my mom lost her battle and she passed away but I want to tell all of the folks at the boulevard that their conversations with me, they're humor and most importantly their humanity fed me more than any food could on that night. This is a special place with special people and I would strongly encourage you to support this institution as we need more places like this in our lives.
