The food was great. I got the chicken parm, and also tried meatloaf my friend got. Both were perfect, the definition of comfort food. Service was exceptional and fast, and while it's small, it's very cozy. 10/10.
Much better than vintage pizza down the road.

This gem of a diner on Shrewsbury Street is open 24 hours a day. I visited at 5ish AM on a Saturday and it was packed - and for good reason. Fast service, great food, and a lively vibe coming from the diversity of hungry folks. It's got on street parking, friendly servers and cooks, and you can get a filling breakfast for about $15. Totally worth a visit, even if it's just to admire the old-school feeling of a legitimate diner car.

What a fun place to eat!
The cook is the nicest, most fun lady. She knew the regulars by name and was so kind to everyone. She made it a real pleasure ✨

Apparently this is what raviolis and sauce is….ordered via DoorDash. Ravioli was cold and sauce was nothing special, not to mention barely any sauce was given. I was disappointed. Home fries were good but they didn’t even give ketchup on the side.

The Sorry State of Irish Eggs Benedict: An Argument Against Restaurant Incompetence
"I will argue that the poor quality of the Irish eggs Benedict, including un-toasted English muffins and overcooked eggs, coupled with the delayed and incorrect order, is indicative of the overall incompetence and lack of professionalism of the restaurant. The presence of inebriated customers further highlights the unacceptable standards of the establishment, ultimately leading to my decision to never return and discourage others from patronizing it."
The breakfast experience at the much-acclaimed restaurant was a series of disappointments, starting with an unfortunate rendition of Irish Eggs Benedict. Instead of the crispy toasted English muffins promised by the menu, I was presented with a soggy and cold base that set the tone for what followed: overcooked eggs with rubbery whites and hardened yolks. As if this culinary fiasco wasn't enough, my order arrived after a prolonged wait and still managed to be incorrect, showcasing an undeniable lack of attention to detail. Compounding these errors was the disturbing presence of visibly inebriated patrons whose disruptive behavior went unchecked by staff. This egregious lack of professionalism not only tainted my meal but also solidified my decision never to return to this establishment. The incompetence observed in both service and atmosphere underscores why I urge others to avoid dining at this restaurant entirely.
The poor quality of the Irish Eggs Benedict is emblematic of deeper issues plaguing this restaurant, indicative of overarching incompetence and a glaring lack of professionalism. The soggy, un-toasted English muffins and overcooked eggs serve not just as a culinary disappointment but as a manifestation of the staff's inability to adhere to basic food preparation standards. The prolonged wait time compounded by an incorrect order further exposes the establishment's failure in fundamental operational practices. This series of mishaps underscores a systemic issue rather than isolated incidents, reflecting poorly on the training and oversight of the restaurant’s staff. Additionally, the unchecked presence of inebriated customers exacerbates an already untenable dining experience, transforming it from merely unpleasant to outright intolerable. The disruption caused by these patrons was ignored by the restaurant personnel, who displayed either indifference or incapacity in maintaining a respectable dining environment. These cumulative failings—culinary, operational, and managerial—underscore why my experience at this establishment was so profoundly unsatisfactory. Therefore, I find it necessary to both personally abstain from future visits and to actively dissuade others from patronizing this substandard venue.
In conclusion, the breakfast experience at this much-acclaimed restaurant revealed a disheartening series of disappointments, starting with an inadequately executed Irish Eggs Benedict. The soggy and cold base set a foreboding tone for overcooked eggs with rubbery whites and hardened yolks, exemplifying the staff’s failure to meet basic culinary standards. This was compounded by an egregious delay in service and an incorrect order, highlighting systemic flaws in operational practices. Adding to this culinary debacle was the unchecked disruption from visibly inebriated patrons, which further marred the dining atmosphere and reflected a grave lapse in management. These cumulative shortcomings—culinary, operational, and managerial—not only ruined my meal but also solidified my resolve never to return. Therefore, I strongly advise others to avoid patronizing this establishment entirely for a truly disappointing experience awaits those who do.
Go to Cranberries.

What a great little diner, with tons of history. Generational Family run place. Very tiny place, seems like a train car converted into a diner, lots of charm. Few booths and counter space. I was in the mood for some Strawberry Shortcake and saw they offered. Very tasty! People watching while there was fun, staff was super friendly and there were many people getting pancakes, since they serve breakfast all day. Great place, you definitely need to check it out.
