The food was amazing, sadly gave it three stars because the front staff could use improvement. We had reservations, arrived early and people that walked in got seated before us. Doesn't make sense. But the food is incredible so still worth going.
I loved the ambiance! Our server was good and very helpful! I enjoyed the yellowtail jalapeño and the chicken wings with ginger soy sauce. At first, I thought the wings were dry but the sauce was inside the crunch which was cool! The salads were in bowls and the veggies were big! I spilled some of salad because it was difficult to cut in a bowl. I would have preferred the salad on a plate! The ginger dressing was tasty! I had the chicken teriyaki bowl as my entree. It was pretty underwhelming. I guess I expected some saucy chicken but couldn't tell it was teriyaki but looking at it or tasting it 😕. I enjoyed my cocktail, it was very tasty!
My family had a wonderful dinner at Chashu before heading over to a show at the Hanover Theater. The food and drinks were both delicious. Our server, Ashleigh, was wonderful. She was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. Her service definitely made the experience even more enjoyable. Will definitely be returning!
Another great meal at Chashu. The pork belly bao and gyoza was delicious. The “Zaire and turf” special was flavorful snd spicy. Highly recommend.
The wasabi was so hot and fresh. Plating elevated even a simple cucumber roll! Delicious spicy vegan ramen my partner enjoyed The dragon slayer sake, Philly roll and vegan udon. Beautiful and delicious desserts! Great service! Thank you 🙏🏾
This place slaps so hard. Can't go wrong, and the sushi is the best in Worcester right now.
This was perhaps our 10th visit - great location, setup, menu and drinks for pre- theatre; we think it gets a bit younger later at night. Everything we've tried has been very good to super delicious- drinks are interesting- tho again, they trend younger (tequilas, vodkas); the small plates are great, tho rarely shareable. The ramen style bowls are good- wish for a bit more variety of protein, but yummy generally. As with more and more places these days, food comes out as prepared, so don't expect seamless course activity. We are always happy to return.
This was my first time at this restaurant. My wife and I went there for the ramen but we ordered some nigiri sushi for an appetizer. We had the yellowtail (hamachi) and tuna belly (toro). Had we realized how good the sushi was we would have just ordered sushi. We eat sushi a lot, and we were even in Japan for most of this past November (eating local cuisine, of course), and yet this was some of the best sushi we've ever had. We were very surprised. I had the spicy red bean ramen with pork. It was very good. I'm not a connoisseur of ramen so I could not say how it stacks up overall. However, it definitely was in the same league as the ramen I had in Japan. The marinated egg was particularly good -- when I return to the restaurant I will try to see if I can get two (happy to pay extra!). My wife had the butter chicken ramen and thought it was good but a little bland. There are a lot of ramen options on the menu so my advice would be to think carefully about how much spice you want and perhaps opt for options that are a little more on the spicy side. The "spicy" ramen I ate had just the right amount of zing, and it's hard to imagine that it would be too spicy for most people. I also tried one of their premium sakes and liked it a lot. I switched to a a draft beer after that because I was concerned that the sake was too tasty and I didn't want to keep downing them on a weeknight. The ambiance was nice, with five screens playing anime movies or series on one wall (no sound). I thought that was a nice touch for a western restaurant serving Japanese food. And when I got the bill I thought that it was quite reasonable for the quality of the meal and drinks.
Great menu, service exceptional, food and presentation amazing. A really interesting place

This is our favorite pre/post theatre restaurant in Worcester!! Never disappoints from service to food & drinks... always amazing!! Highly recommend!
Don't bother trying to make a reservation for a group. They really expected us to pay a $90 per person head fee. Absolutely outrageous.
This is a really good place in Worcester where one can go multiple times and enjoy the food and menu offerings.
The ambience is lively, cozy and allows for casual conversation to flow.
Having a reservation would be good. Otherwise, wait times can be upto 30mins on weekends and weekday evenings.
They have really good Ramen. Other items on their menu are also sumptuous.

My soup was cold, other than that, everything was good. Friendly staff, clean, and good atmosphere. But again, soup needs to be hot.
