Oh my god this place is the WORST. randomly won't take out of state IDs (even if you're over 21) after saying they would and making u wait in line. Additionally, had a bouncer throw my friends REAL 21+ ID across the parking lot after he asked why they wouldn't take out of state and then did it again AGAIN when he brought it back and offered to pay the $10 cover charge. This place is not worth even $1...the drinks are terrible, the staff is AWFUL, the vibe is CREEPY and the place is trash. 0/10 would recommend. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!!!!

Great bar on Thursdays, but the rest of the weekend Whiskey on Water, which is 2 doors down, draws most of the crowd, especially during summer. Rest of the year, it gets exciting only after Whiskey gets too crowded and there's no chance of getting in by 1. Which sucks cos the music at Whiskey is awful, but District plays way better music.

Run, Run Away and do not waste any money in this establishment. My friend and I made the mistake of coming in last night as according to Yelp it was open until 2am. We got there at 1:30am, and the bartender told us it was the last call. About 1:35pm, one of their employees tells us to hurry up and finish our drinks and get out of there. It was 5 minutes after we had gotten there. Furthermore, we continued to be harassed by this "bar fly" that would not leave us alone. He came up to, put his arms around us, and tried to get a date with both of us. The night continued to go downhill, as 5 minutes later, the same guy told us we needed to leave. We said that it didn't close till 2am. Then the bartender did the unthinkable. She decided to light up a cigarette. It's Massachusetts and it's no-smoking inside. I said something to the guy that was rushing us out the door and he said it wasn't there problem they closed 10 minutes ago. Do not waste a single penny in this horrible low class establishment. I recommend going to Whiskey on Water on Water street and avoiding this like the plague.
