Currently at funkys. My friends and I came here to have a drink. My friends didn’t like the flavor of their drink. So we politely asked if the bartenders can change the drink . Both bartenders including the manager came and gave attitude said no we’d have to pay for another drink. Never had a bartender decline to remake a drink with so much attitude . I will not come back here. Service was horrible . Now they are not attending us and keep rolling their eyes.

so I have come out with my girls to funky Murphys @ 11:30 ish October 10, 2024 and they have poor poor service my friend and I got a margarita strawberry and mango they did not taste like the flavor at all … it was not a good experience with us we kindly ask if we can get a refund or another drink different flavor the bar tender said we had to pay $5 more and like that is very very crazy espeically when we barely touched the drink I don’t recommend this place at all

It's almost a ritual at this point that me, my mother, and grandmother will grab breakfast here about once a month on Sundays. Great place!

We went in with a party of 9 on a Friday evening. They refused to do 3 separate checks for our table. We asked if they would take 3 cards if we figured out how much each family owed. They said they could only split the bill evenly - which didn’t seem fair to the party of 2 that was with us. They said that is their policy and they were a full restaurant (they were only half full). We are from Maine and cater to our customers, we were disappointed with this poor customer service. We left and took our business down the street where they happily did 3 separate checks for us, Welly’s was great.

Funky Murphys is my favorite place in the area. Staff is really nice, the food is awesome and stays open until late at night. The atmosphere and crowd change through the week, but every day is a nice day here. Sunday nights, they host karaoke, so if you're into singing, you gotta check it out.
Funky Murphy’s was one of the only bars open at 11:30 am so we gave it a shot! They had a Monday menu special that was a great value - everything was ten bucks. My gf got the fish and chips, I had the steak tips and fries and we both had clam chowder. The chowder was my favorite - definitely seemed to be homemade which was a safe bet since we were in Massachusetts. I got a cup which was only $5 and the bowl was just a dollar more! The steak was cooked well and on a grill so the flavor was nice and smoky. The fries were delicious and and a big portion. The fish was the only thing that was just ok - I think they would benefit from doing a beer battered fish for a nice crunch rather than what I think was panko which left the fish kinda limp but my gf was happy! We also had a couple local beers which were nice and over all had a great experience. They also have a bunch of huge TVs and a bar lined with their regulars so it’s definitely a neighborhood spot.

I’ve had the Prime Rib sliders but Saturday tried the $12.99 Prime Rib dinner. Unbelievable! It was better than some I paid way more for. Cooked perfectly, mash potatoes were smooth and creamy and the asparagus was great. What a deal.
