I have loved coming to this place for years! I can’t find any confirmation of it anywhere, but my sense is it is under new management or ownership.
The restaurant was freezing, even wearing a winter jacket. Impossible to sit and actually enjoy the food. Forget about me, I can’t believe they’re making their staff work like that.
As someone who has been coming to this restaurant for years from across the street at the courthouse, as a message to new management, I would tell you to undo everything you’ve done. Those of us from across the street know the faces of these people working here and it is a bad look to have them working under such conditions.
Further, it seems as though you’ve implemented some changes and thought no one would notice. The regulars here have been coming here for years. This business has been built on consistency by the same people coming from the across the street at the court.
Best of luck but I’m not sure I’ll be back.

Some of the best home made corned beef hash I've ever had! Definitely coming back if I'm ever in Worcester again.

They have all day breakfast, salads, sandwiches, coffees, dessert, bottled drinks, smoothies, acai. They make everything fresh and delicious. A very good amount of options. There's to-go or eat in. I love this place. I go here often. I go here to get food for myself and my boyfriend then it cost $20 to $30 however it's very worthy it.

Loved this place! Visiting from out of town and came here due to the outstanding reviews and was not disappointed. Came for breakfast and the service was quick and friendly. Breakfast sandwiches and pancakes were tasty. The parking situation was a little annoying to deal with, all street parking was full and the closest lot was a full $20 (😱) for an hour. But the restaurant itself was great.

The cowboy burger was yummy. The fries were delicious, they tasted homemade. It was a good portion for a reasonable price.

Garden Fresh Courthouse Café is a delightful blend of energy and warmth, and my recent visit left a lasting impression. The café was bustling with customers when I arrived, creating a vibrant, lively atmosphere. Despite the rush, Lisa—who, to my pleasant surprise, is the owner—greeted me with genuine warmth and attentiveness as I browsed the menu. I initially had my eye on the meat lasagna special, which had already sold out (a clear testament to its popularity), but Lisa quickly offered an alternative suggestion without missing a beat.
Curious about the origins of the café, I asked about the owner, only to learn that Lisa herself was the mastermind behind it all. Not only is she a welcoming and engaging host, but her warmth is matched by her beauty, with eyes that light up when she speaks. She shared that, although she’s from the area, her parents are Albanian, which sparked a wonderful conversation about her heritage. Based on that, she recommended their spinach feta pie, and I couldn’t have been more impressed. The flavors transported me straight to Eastern Europe—rich, authentic, and delicious.
The café’s interior is equally as inviting, offering a refreshing contrast to the heat outside. It’s spacious, beautifully designed, and provides a variety of seating options to suit any mood. Whether you’re looking for a spot by the windows to observe the world, a quick meal on a busy schedule, or a more intimate, private corner to enjoy in peace, the layout accommodates all. I opted for a quiet, cozy nook, and the food arrived perfectly timed and at just the right temperature, making the experience all the more enjoyable.
What truly sets Garden Fresh Courthouse Café apart is the personal touch that Lisa brings. Her passion for her work is evident in every interaction and in the care she and the staff put into the food and the space. This café is more than just a place to grab a bite—it’s a welcoming, refreshing retreat in the heart of Worcester.
