Very surprised at huge array of varied pastries, cakes and pies. All of the expected Italian specialties and lots more of everything. Very very fresh products are generously sized and priced fairly. Helpful counter folks are patient and attentive. Clean and nicely arranged sales area.

Amazing authentic Italian deli as good as you can get in the north end of Boston. They are known for their meatball sub, meatballs, taste, just like my grandmother’s, which is a huge compliment. They also have a good Italian sub, good chicken, cutlet subs, everything is good. Amazing Italian desserts. They do catering as well. Highly recommend. here is there sandwich/deli menu.

Wonderful Bakery and deli, wish I lived closer or could move them to Erie Pa as our Italian bakery’s are all retired now and gone, my wife walked in here because she found them on a search we were going back home from Boston I pulled up and saw meatballs on the sign and I told her how i would love a meatball sub but it was so early I doubt they would have it ready right now, she went in and out she walked with an amazing meatball sub and some of the best pastries i have not had in such a long time. The cannolis were out of this world same with the lobster tail I didn’t find anything I didn’t like that she got. I don’t know when I’ll be back in the area but I without a doubt will be returning in the future. And I highly recommend them!

Amazing italian pastries, especially try the Bismarck. Also, try the sandwiches... they are made with a half loaf of Italian bread!

We found this bakery 3 or 4 years ago. We stop every year for Easter and pick up pastries. Every single year people rave about how good everything is! The staff is friendly and items are reasonably priced. We love Giovanni’s!

The owner has a terrible personality. His prices are ridiculous . Culpeppers Bakery down the street has better Italian cookies than he makes.
