So glad this cesspool closed. Not only was it dark, dingy, and dirty, everything was broken all the time. Grimey, gross - good riddance!!

It's a case of u don't know what ya got, till it's gone.. The owners decided to close the gym, leaving we devoted gym rats, scurrying 4 cover at other gyms. Needless 2 say, my personal opinion, there aren't any other gyms in the area, that offer all that World Gym did.. Either they're 2 small, not enough equipment, 2 pricey, no juice bah, and who the f... wants 2 deal with a place that sounds an alarm 4 working out 2 hard..?! Looking 4 the next World Gym.

Love this gym. They have everything you need to get a workout in from tanning to childcare to Matt's and yoga balls. The class selection is extensive too. Highly recommended.

I used to go to World Gym quite often in 2014 when i had a membership. For a gym at the time, it wasn't so bad. But everything else about it, is a different story. The staff at the gym usually aren't too friendly unless your an active regular & you will never talk to management. I canceled my membership in 2015 (given a paper stating i canceled it). Its early December in 2017 and a bill arrived in my mail saying a owe a large amount of money because they kept on accruing payments from my "canceled" account. They told me i had to pay or they will get a debt collector. Management refuses to talk and the staff just basically ignores my "letter of cancellation". I decided to pay it off (almost 260) and record the whole process on video to make sure i will not be billed again. This place had SOOO much potential as a gym but the shady business tactics out weights all the positives.

Best sup shop in MA hands down, very knowledgeable staff and extensive selection of products.

Great gym. Been going here for over a year and a half. Great culture and there's always equipment. They could do a better job in keeping equipment in shape and keep the environments clean, but I'm very happy to go there.

Listen people if you are looking for a place to hand you towels and give you little cups of lemon water while You work out this is not the place for you. I have been coming here since this place was family fitness. This is a gyms gym. You have all the free weights you need. The machines get the job done and the cardio equipment is very good. If you are looking for a good workout stop making excuses, get your a** up and get to they gym and make it happen.

3 words! worst gym ever!!! 50% of the equipments are broken. What's the point of the annual fee if you're not going to use that money to fix up or buy new equipments. Come on man! Great environment, in terms of the gym rats, but always crowded and have to always wait to use something. Maybe if those 50% items were fixed, we would not have to wait on anyone. Always have buckets on the floor for roof leaks, come on just fix the patch in the roof. This is a death trap, and the place is always dirty. Amanda or whatever her name is... is the worse Manager working there. I know 5 people have switched to Boost Fitness because of her and Matt. The front desks associates are nice though. I also switched to Boost Fitness. Do the math: World Gym = basic plan requires 1 yr COMMITMENT and start-up of $59, annual fee of $49.99 Boost Fitness = basic plan: ZERO commitment, start-up of $1, annual fee of $39.99, and the best part. this gym is 24/7!!!! Always clean! Just go check it out yourself. They will even allow you to try it out first before enrolling. I rest my case.

1st time coming... And not such a great experience. One of the employees Anthony Romeo at the bar had given me and my friend some horrible attitude and bad customer service. After my friend dropped his protein by accident the Anthony gives me and my friend a great amount of attitude. He throws my debit card at me to sign, instead of politely handing my belongings. Anthony in way kicks us out for spilling a drink, so we decide to leave because clearly World Gym has horrible customer service. (Don't even think about signing up)

Fist of all, this gym is definitely not designed for women, main floor is all weights and equipment while upstairs is all cardio, meaning the first floor is full of men while the women are forced to hide away upstairs. Also, they auto-renew your membership without any notification and without any refund. I've attempted to cancel my membership several times and have been flat out refused multiple times with continued charges. Whenever I've had an issue with my membership there is no way to talk to a manager without speaking over email, never in person. I would not recommend this gym.

This is THE best gym I've ever worked out at and I've been a gym rat since college. The trainers all look like trainers [ever see a fat trainer at a gym? I have, but not here] and the culture is definitely muscle-head.... that's good. There's a swagger about the place and I subscribe to the idea that if you're the biggest dude in your gym, you need a new gym. If you want to peck away at your cell phone while you pretend to be working out, sitting on a piece of equipment for 5 minutes between sets, sauntering around w/ your water bottle, don't come here. Also, there are definitely no ridiculous signs that say: No excessive grunting. What?!? ! Define excessive. No Lunk Alarms here either**. Want to slam your weights down? Go for it. Love the juice bar and the staff. ** For those that have not had the displeasure of working out at Planet Fitness, a Lunk Alarm is an alarm that is sounded to judge the person that's working out too hard in their supposed "no judgement" zone.

I was originally quite satisfied with this gym. Then, I moved out of state in 2011 and canceled my membership at that time due to distance. Continued to receive charges. Called and was told that I was not in the system whatsoever so there was no way I could be receiving charges from them- the charges ceased after a while. It is now 2015 and I live in California....and this 'reputable business' just started charging my card again, disagreed that my membership was ever canceled, and said that the only way for this to be resolved is to go in in person (oh no big deal since I only live three THOUSAND miles away) or send ANOTHER registered letter. Because since my membership was canceled YEARS ago I did not save my receipt. W.T.F. Go somewhere else for your exercise needs. I got nothing out of my membership which was worth several years of hassle.
