This place hasn't changed since I was a child. My great grandmother lived across the street from Helen's and after visiting her, my mom would take me and my sister over to get a sugar cookie and some bulkies, which are incredible, by the way! The interior looks exactly the same: no frills, but clean! Everything is always fresh and delicious. This bakery is a staple in the neighborhood!

I got 2 éclairs, they were amazing! Old school éclairs like I remember as a kid. They were huge with plenty of Bavarian cream!! Biggest éclair I've ever had but it did not disappoint when it came to the filling. The layer of chocolate could def be bigger. If it had more chocolate it would be the best éclair in this world!! Way better than Mike's and Modern pastries éclairs. Bova has very good éclairs too. These are bigger and better but I wish there was more chocolate on them

Omg. So much goodness here. The owner and his staff are very friendly and helpful. Also the best bulky rolls ever. And wow try anything you want there and you will know instantly that they serve up quality food. I have only been going there for the past 50 plus years! Always a great experience!❤️

One of the few places left to get your swedish beads and confections. Quality is superb. Service is friendly and very accommodating. Hope they are here for many years to come.
