Hidden gem in Worcester for sure ! I got Eggplant Napoleon w homemade Italian pasta, it was soooooo delicious ! The waitress was extremely attentive and friendly, very easy going and always checked in on us. She was so in tune with me that when I said "Oh you have Eggplant on the menu ?" She knew immediately when we went to order to put in that Eggplant for me. I loved how all the staff worked together like if I put dirty dishes at the edge of the table, they were immediately removed by a staff member walking by. The alcoholic drinks were well made too. If you are in the Worcester area, living or visiting, I HIGHLY recommend Joey's Bar & Grill. You will not be disappointed, especially if you end up with the waitress we had. 5 out of 5 stars for sure !

Kid-friendliness: Great options available on kids menu

Always love our regular stop at Joeys, whether we are grabbing an appetizer or enjoying dinner. Super friendly bartenders. Decent rotating beer selection. Love the bang bang shrimp appetizer and the fried oysters!

Had dinner with our niece...her boyfriend and his parents. Had a couple of apps and dinner. The calamari was excellent and our meals were very good. Our server Erin was friendly, responsive and super helpful in making our dinner choices. Definitely will be back!

Normally we love Joey’s.. we go for special occasions or the occasional date night. Food has typically been fresh and really well priced with good portions. However Saturday we had an experience that will probably keep us from ever going back and spending money there.

Saturday we planned to eat at the bar, and although it was evening, the place was dead. It’s summertime so we didn’t think much of it. We got a drink and ordered an app to split. It was the carmalized jumbo shrimp app. When it came out, we were appalled that the entire $18 appetizer had 3, yes only 3 shrimp in it. The rest was gooey vegetables and some crunchy lo mein noodles. We were shocked. Then when we tried it, the shrimp tasted old and soapy. The dish was barely edible and I think we each took a few bites and decided to eat elsewhere after that.

I understand cost has gone up and prices have risen in return, but $18 for 3 shrimp that were supposed to be “jumbo” and definitely weren’t, that tasted funny, is outrageous in my mind. I should have taken a picture but I was honestly in such shock I didn’t even think. Sad because we did genuinely enjoy this place for a long time.

Perfect combination of quality, price and service. I went with my sister and mother and had a perfect time thanks to our server who explained every dish to us and was very attentive the whole time. We had crab cakes, baby back ribs and volcano shrimp. The crab cakes were my favorite, the flavor, the softness and warmth of it were a perfect combination. And the one I am having again next time: banana bread pudding, it was everything you could expect of that title, didn’t disappoint, it was perfect. Highly recommend this place.

Went in for date night and from the moment we walked in the customer service was phenomenal. Every staff member was cheerful and clearly happy to be there. The food was quick and delicious. The drinks were even better. Definitely a gem in Worcester.

Joey's is an amazing casual dining experience for the most discerning of palettes in central Mass. I'm just a regular Worcester guy, so I says, " They got wicked good chowder!!!"
