Chani’s Deli has become a required part of my family’s Shabbat meals. My fiancée and I discovered it after we started going to shul here regularly. I’ve become so spoiled by the kugels and challah, and it’s now the challah we use in our home (we use both this challah, and matzoh, for hamotzi at home, for a variety of reasons). We learned that we need to order by Wednesday, for Thursday pickup.

So my wife and I went here on a whim. I heard about it on Facebook on one of our local groups. So we went to try it out. It is inside a synagogue. The pastrami sandwich was very good. The food though is expensive. Im torn between this place because I did end up getting food poisoning after eating here, but it was so damn good. My wife did not get sick and she ate the same thing. So im not sure what happened. So thats why I gave it three stars. It's good food, but expensive and with my personal experience I can't rate higher.

What a hidden gem! We stopped on the recommendation of a friend as we were passing through Worcester. Kosher deli to die for! We live over an hour away and I know we will make the trek here again without a doubt. We ordered and then had a wonderful conversation with the Rabbi who was very welcoming. The deli is inside a synagogue. The Rabbi explained the history of the synagogue and their mission to use the proceeds from the deli business to do a mitzvah and provide camp for kids in the area. He explained how the temple is open to many people in the area to worship. As good as if not better than any NY kosher deli I have ever had- delicious corned beef , pastrami, brisket, deli turkey, Israeli salad, knishes, and more and of course Dr. Brown’s soda to round out our meal. We did take out but there are a few tables if you want to eat in. While we were there someone came in who said they had come from the south shore of MA almost 1.5 hours away- so clearly people are willing to travel for this yummy food! Do yourself a favor and make a pilgrimage for this awesome food - and support a wonderful Rabbi and his synagogue who seem to be engaged in many community minded pursuits.

I am the Jewish jeweler from NH, heard about this place and I had to drive up to try the food , first thing the rabbi is the nicest person you ever met , felt like he was part of my family after talking to him for 30 min , now for the food, I grew up with this food as I lived in nyc , hands down it is as good or better then any of the true kosher delis that nyc had years ago, don’t walk but run down to try his food out of this world , so nice to meet you and thank you for getting the old world flavor back in my palate jeff

I'll definitely be back! The food was delicious and the Rabbi very welcoming! The classic pastrami was tender, fatty, and flavorful. The bread was soft, and the meal came with sauces, slaw, and a fresh pickle.

The best Jewish style deli around. Generous portions, sandwiches come with pickles, and a choice of coleslaw or potato salad. Comfortable place to dine.
