I was crushed when they shut down, but baby, they're back! They've been one of my favorite places to eat for a long time, and I dont see that ever changing. Their beef is perfectly tender, their jollof and waakye flavorful, their gari the perfect texture and flavor, and their carrots are unmatched. Give them your money, you will not regret it.

This is my go to recommendation if you are looking for quick, healthy food. The Jollof Rice and chicken are very flavorful and the texture of the plantains are just right. The food here have no silly gimmicks. It's just clean, fresh food with a good portion size.
If you are considering trying Akra Eatery you should give it a try! You can never go wrong with the Classic Jollof Bowl or the Classic Waakye Bowl.

I have ordered classic jollof rice bowl which has chicken and I got a different meat. This is unacceptable and the store doesn’t have any contact number to call. What do I do with this?? It’s a total waste of food.

all ingredients were fresh and so appealing to the eye I had to try! I Was not let down, the food is flavorful and plentiful. Highly recommend the braised beef has a tad of spicy kick to it, it is delicious!! Very busy when I first went in so I chose to come back an hour later. Glad I returned, will return again and try other add ons

I had to wait to review until I ordered a 2nd time because I received the wrong bowl the 1st time (DoorDash). But can I say… I’ve been waiting to order because even thought I got the wrong bowl, it made me crave for more ? my favorite part is probably the Jollof rice.. I really cannot get enough!! The bowl is a perfect size, sauces are some of the best I’ve tasted, veggies are very fresh, & everything is seasoned to perfection. Even getting it delivered, it came warm & ready to devour! ? I will 100% be ordering from here again & hopefully I’ll be able to go in person to have the ✨ full experience ✨
Vegetarian options: Clearly labeled vegetarian options! Love that they have seasoned tofu to add to the bowls for folks who don’t eat meat but still want some ?? protein ?
