I came in for a glass of wine and ended up ordering the prime rib off of the specials menu. The steak was perfect and the bartender Stephanie was a gracious host.

As we look forward to attending New Year’s Eve once again at Maxwell/ Luciano’s, I realize that although I posted this review on TripAadvisor, I neglected to post it on this site… so Here it is long overdue from Sept 2021…”We hosted a Bridal Shower / Brunch here for our daughter 2 weeks ago and I cannot say enough great things about it. I booked it very early.. last March, in the midst of Covid, when most other venues were not equipped to handle a reservation for Sept. Martin handled my request and was marvelous to work with… getting all the details down. When the time got close I worked with Stephanie and she was awesome, eager to satisfy every detail and request. And on the day, David ran himself ragged to get everything done to sheer perfection. The day of the shower, we arrived to the Grand Hall all set up in spectacular fashion… tables set formally, lovely curtained dividers to make our space private, lovely entrance and a huge splendid adjacent area set up for the buffet. This venue is breathtakingly beautiful, and having our celebration here allowed us to showcase the best Worcester has to offer! They had lovely background music playing to compliment the space perfectly. The buffet was more than impressive and elegantly presented… fresh and delicious… from pastries, fresh fruit, eggs, bacon, waffles, eggs Benedict to two lovely salads , then progressed on to three chosen entrees of fish, beef and pasta, potatoes and roasted vegetables…AND a chef served carving station of Turkey and ham as well as omelette station!! An array of petite desserts and complimentary mimosas and bloody Mary’s topped off the spread.I cannot stress how many compliments we received on the elegance and perfection of this event! My daughter and her fiancé were thrilled with every aspect of the day. Thank you Gus for running a top-notch restaurant and event venue!!”From Anne and Dave Kisiel

Food was delicious. We craved more of the bruschetta appetizer. The steaks were tender and perfectly seasoned and cooked. My overall experience there was positive. The decor was lovely. A+++ to our server. And last but not least the salad was just the right size, not too much and very pleasant tasting

Recently there for dinner with another couple. The atmosphere is very nice. The parking at Union Station was a little tricky to find. It's around the back of the Union Station building. They validated our ticket at restaurant. The food was good, some small portioned but good. A decent beer selection. Went there to have dinner and dancing. No dancing " people are on vacation this weekend that run the dancing". This could have been posted on the Fb page. There are a couple things they need to change, We were being rushed in a restaurant with few patrons. THE Aerosol SPRAY CLEANER USED TO CLEAN THE TABLES, HAS TO GO. No patron wants to inhale and taste the odor of that while eating their meal. We had a wonderful time with our friends.

Food from appetizers through dessert was very good. Service was prompt and courteous. Not only did our waitress check on us another came by too. Sometimes you can infrequent check ins and at times too much which is disruptive. Our experience was just right. The decor was pleasant to look at and tables well spaced. Only minus was the aerosol spray used to clean tables. The smell was irritating to the nose. Strong enough you could taste the cleaning agent.

Was recently here for a function with 70+ people. They set us up in the bar with all their other patrons. Very crowded, really hot. The cheese tray was very average, but no napkins were to be seen. Also there was a prom in the large section but zero signs directing us where to meet our party. Poorly executed.

It makes me sad to write this review. Our first date, 46 years ago, was at the old Maxwell Silvermans. That was a great place, and over the years, we had many great times there. Not the same with Luciano’s. We ate there Friday night for our anniversary (44 years). The tabouli appetizer was lousy. My wife had the baked seafood trio, which was terrible and removed from our bill. On top of this, the chairs were shabby and worn. When my wife spoke to Gus about our complaints, he was dismissive. The only highlight of our time was our waitress, Cece. She was friendly and professional.

I like the restaurant very much. The best in Worcester. We try to dine there at least once a week. Gus made a very smart decision to put his business in that beautiful building. We will be there tomorrow.Wheelchair accessibility: Perfect place to park for my friend when the weather is bad, keeps him out of the wind, rain, and snow.

We enjoyed good food and everything was reasonably priced. The music was fun and the atmosphere nice. We look forward to returning.
