The server we had last night was the biggest jerk and should be fired. We left after being clearly discriminated by your staff. We’ve been coming here for years but will never be back after yesterday’s experience. Ricardo was a complete jerk and should not be in the restaurant business.
Always crowded but worth the wait for a table. Food is great and plentiful and the reason it is always busy. Service was speedy and accurate. With the addition of valet service, it is also easy to get in and out.
I am From Rhode Island.. The food here is "BEAT OF THE BEST" I had Veal Parm OUTSTANDING!
Excellent food, great service. The spaghetti cheese bowl was unique and delicious. Each entree we had was excellent. Valet parking provided a courteous and professional service. We will be back.
great food, great atmosphere, and great staff
The food was excellent and service was great. The only problem was we had a reservation for 7:30 and were seated until 8:10. Everyone loved the food and there were seven people in our party.
Bustling, loud, robust place to eat. No parking, but valets will park your car for you for a fee. Food was very, very good. Noise levels required almost yelling to be heard across table. The food was very good! The place had a thirty minute wait by 5:30 pm. After eating there, I see why. Good food!
Visiting from out of town, and our vacations aren’t vacations without good food, no matter we we go. They didn’t disappoint. Great portion sizes, the service was excellent and food great. They don’t take reservations, but you can call ahead when you’re on your way to get on the waitlist. Highly recommend doing so as it’s clearly a very popular restaurant with the locals. Free valet parking available.
My wife and I went on Sat night and the place was really busy. We were asked if we called ahead and we had but they don’t take reservations. We were seated promptly. We were given bread and garlic oil which was good and we ordered drinks. Our waitress came and we ordered an appetizer and our main meal. The Arancini was great but it took a little longer to get our main dinners. My wife had the mushroom ravioli and I had the cioppino special. Both dinners were fantastic. We finished with dessert and my wife had the decaf cappuccino. The food was great and we will be returning soon.
My husband and I went on a Tuesday night with a reservation for 6:45 pm upon arrival we were told there would be a 15 minute wait. Not the best start. Food was wonderful but the service was way beyond poor - sad to have a favorite place be that disappointing

We absolutely love this place! Mare E Mante is tucked away in a neighborhood where street parking may be tight but we always find a spot. I read they offer free valet parking so may just take them up on that next time we go. The food here is delicious and plentiful, the service is wonderful, prices are reasonable especially considering the quality of the meal and the atmosphere is cozy. Mare E Mante has become our go to place when we want a delicious food and a nice night out. I cant imagine anyone being disappointed. PS save room for dessert. Typically I am not a dessert person but they are perfect compliment to an amazing dinner.
we went on a Friday night. We ate early and were seated promptly. The server was perfect. She asked all the right questions and made comments on the best selection. We enjoyed a bottle of wine appetizers and entrees. The price was reasonable.. A plus was the complementary valet parking as the streets seemed tight near the restaurant.
Definitely the best Italian restaurant we’ve discovered in Worcester! The food was extremely tasty with very generous but not ridiculous portions. The chicken parm was great and the lasagna was rich, cheesy and delicious. We also tried the arancini and the lemon citrus cannolis for dessert and we were not mad about either of these choices. The cocktails were also excellent with some creative choices. The atmosphere is also very lovely with lit candles and a rustic and charming/classy Italian decor making it a great place for a date. The bill wasn’t too bad at all considering we had an appetizer, two cocktails, two generous entrees (my partner had quite a bit leftover but I was brave and ate everything) , a soda, and split a dessert. We also had very nice service from our waitress who was very kind and personable. We’ve been trying different Italian restaurants in the city but feel like we’ve found “the one” for Italian cuisine and will just return here from now on for our Italian needs. We just want to try everything on the menu and can’t wait to go back.
Such a warm welcoming atmosphere from the valet (who highly recommended the bread pudding!), to the smiling host and Joey our server! The place was buzzing but it seemed like they were use to the crowds. It’s a little slice of Italy…brick walls, artwork, dim lighting and of course authentic Italian food. The food was lovely with a varied menu. Our server amazing…relaxed, attentive and knows how to engaged his table guests. I’ll be back.
It was a great casual atmosphere with surprisingly responsive and friendly staff. Just the kind of place you want to go for a nice dinner with the family. Really like the food -- mushroom ravioli were rich and delicious, spaghetti al formagio parmesan - delicious and a great presentation! Loved it! Chicken parm got a thumgs up from the boys - tough critics. Would recommend this place to anyone; great quiet place for a business dinner too!!
