Everything was great. The 1/2 rack of lamb, the rissotto, the burrata caprese, the scallops.... OMG!!.... So tasty and flavorful. Thank you to our waitress. He took care of everything diligently. 100% recommended.

The kitchen at Nuovo was way behind. The waiter apologized several times for the wait. He then offered for us to take our food to go if we wanted. Mond you, this was after we told him we were going to the theater. Are we supposed to eat our dinner in the middle of the theater? We finally got our food but needed to wolf it down to make it on time to the theater. To put it in context, we had given ourselves 2 hours and it was almost not enough time. My food was very good once we got it. Jonathan was not as pleased with his. It may have been a bad night but, we won't be in a hurry to try it again.

We requested a particular waiter (Matt), who did not disappoint. He was exceptional; very polite, good sense of humor, knowledgeable, and attentive. The food was good; I would've liked more of a selection in the mixed veggies. The only complaint is that the table was wobbly, which should have been fixed before any diners entered the restaurant. It was a wonderful experience for our family to celebrate our youngest son's 18th birthday.

Bring your appetite, they serve plenty of food. Large list of menu items and wine list good too although a little slim on the single glass option. Husband got the chicken marsala, good but he thought the marsala sauce was a little bland. I got the chicken milanese, also different from the usual with Italian sweet sausage included as well. We saved room for desert and the affrogato and creme brulee were outstanding. Service was prompt and attentive. We were going to a concert and needed timely meal service, which they accommodated. Overall a really good dinner.

This was my first time visiting Nuovo. My friend and I were celebrating our birthdays and the staff went above and beyond to make the evening super special. From the complimentary champagne to the candle at the end of the meal, attention to detail was always present. Our server Noemi was outstanding!! I will definitely be back for another celebratory dinner.

Had dinner on a Wednesday evening in April. Nuovo was lively but not noisy. Waitress, Noamy, was welcoming, friendly, gracious, smiling, very helpful with meal descriptions and suggestions. She was great. We first tried the Bruschetta, Minestrone and Lemon Orzo soups. All were excellent. The salmon was tasty and cooked just right. The Veal Marsala special with house salad was wonderful. Great Marsala sauce, nicely cooked mushrooms and onions with tender veal. A very pleasant dinner in a cozy spot on Shrewsbury Street in Worcester. Glad we went and look forward to another visit soon.

When I'm in Worcester this is one of my family's go-to's. In Connecticut I'm a little spoiled with amazing Italian food so for me it's meh. I do love their meatballs. I have tried the chicken piccata it's pretty good. I've ordered the chicken Caesar salad before, had a funny taste, didn't finish the chicken. Nothing exceptional. But by far the most disturbing was this "filet mignon" special. First of all, they're trying to pass this off as actual filet mignon, you can tell by looking at it it's not. And no chef would ever cut filet mignon into 3oz medallions- so I should've known better. Was so fatty, tasted like chuck/stew meat. I kept trying to salvage some of it but it was so chewy I just kept spitting it out. The cognac sauce was good however whatever the mashed potatoes were seasoned with did not pair with the sauce at all. It tasted sour or spoiled. Didn't eat those either. As far as the presentation it speaks for itself; however this was a take-out order so I don't hold high standards on appearance. Also pictured was the eggplant Parm, on a positive note my mother did enjoy it though it was an extremely small portion for dinner ($21, pasta is extra). I have ordered the vegetables as a side dish before, very small portion (came in pint container 1/2 full) for $10 but tasty. Greek salad was good, if I remember correctly they make their own dressing. While this place would not be my choice, my family does like it so I'm going to stick with the meatballs next time.

Well decided to try this on a recommendation...I should have went to via or 111 chop..bad bar service....ordered a nice 100 bottle of wine and ate my salad before the wine arrived ..my wife's meal was less then quality and when bartender asked her how it was she gave an honest answer no flavor ..she said she would tell the cook...nothing ever came of it ...many better options in the area ..eat well..

Another great meal at Nuovo's. Went with another couple who are good friends of ours and enjoyed everything from the wonderful mussels Dijon and calamari appetizers to our entrées. A couple of perfect martinis, as well as an excellent Cosmo and Makers old-fashion. Our server, Kelvin was absolutely outstanding, a total professional, as well as warm and engaging to chat with! Took the apple crisp home for dessert!

Had dinner with friends this past week. I'll keep it simple: Pros: 1. Food was good; portions just right. None of us had any leftover to bring home. 2. I found our server to be good. Came at just the right time for another drink. 3. Ambiance is nice, on the dark side but I like that. Also, tables are well spaced so you don't have other diners on top of you. 4. Nice bar Cons: 1) Drinks are TINY for $12 and loaded with ice! I had 3 and did not even have a buzz, so i assume not too much alcohol in them as well 2) Parking is trick. There is a lot closer to 290 but it is for the brew pub and pizza place. Nuovo has a smaller lot with valet. So will I go again? Yes, but I'll drink beer next time.

Food- Food absolutely delicious, best pasta I had ever eaten. Excellent pasta - the best !!! Service- our server was very friendly, and very accommodating. The ambiance is perfect for an intimate dinner with my wife on Valentine's Day. They have a complete bar with a fantastic array of libations. Great place to eat and enjoy a wonderful Italian dinner. I will definitely be back , my first time here but I guarantee it won't be my last. Plus the staff is wonderful (by this I mean from the Chef, to the waitresses, all on the same page to provide a wonderful dining experience. )

Went for restaurant week. Eggplant relating was very good. Caesars salad was ok, nothing special. Main course was chicken fracaise over risotto. No sauce on Chicken but it was still good but the risotto was too firm

We enjoy coming to Nuovo a few times a year. Came for restaurant week and we werent disappointed in the quality and quantity of food. Only issue was incredibly slow service. I get it that they need to train new folks on slow weeknights, so it is what it is. Owner very nicely comped dessert.
