Fantastic food, excellent service, portion sizes appropriate to cost. Can't comment on alcohol, but other folks seemed very pleased.
Edit: came back. Ate, was thrilled, coming back. 👍😎

Service is pleasant
Visiting the area on a work trip, we had a fantastic dining experience with friendly service and Kendall our waitress answered all of our questions with exceptional service. I will definitely recommend to everyone visiting here with us.

I am not local, but have now done two vacations to Massachusetts. I have struggled with finding flavor with most places that I have tried, so far. But....not the Oak Barrel Tavern. We ordered burgers and they were easily, the best food that we have had in this state so far. If Silver Scream Con 5 is in Worcester next year, I will definitely go back for more! Not only did it all taste great, the service was fast.

Have only had take out orders but food is always delicious and fresh. Tater tots are nice and crisp, coleslaw is fresh with the perfect amount of dressing. Wings were good sized and cooked perfectly. Salad was made of nice and fresh ingredients. Fig & Prosciutto flatbread was delicious and highly recommend giving it a try. The baby back Ribs are fantastic and perfectly fall off the bone.
We had the mac and cheese with breaded chicken, the wings, and the the buffalo chicken wrap. The mac and cheese was not very good. The noodles were overcooked and the cheese sauce was not very cheesy. The buffalo sauce on the buffalo wrap did not taste very good either. Then for dessert we got the lava cake, and there was not even any lava in the middle. Overall this was an extremely mid eating experience. There are a lot of good restraints around and unfortunately this is not one of them.

First time at this place and had a great time. Wide range of food. Caring staff and pretty delicious food
We had some family visiting in between travel stops, and we needed to find a lunch place close to home at the last minute. We were able to call at 11:30 AM and make reservations for 4 at 12:15 PM on Father's Day. We were seated immediately. Our server Violetta was friendly and joked with each of us at the table during different portions of service. It was just the right amount. She checked on us regularly during service, also. We could not be more pleased with our service today. I ordered the clam chowder for $8.00. The serving was a good size. It was filling and tasted good. For my main I ordered the Greek Salad with Greek dressing. The toasted pita triangles were perfectly prepared, and I enjoyed the many Kalamata olives as well as the salad dressing. My wife ordered the Flatbread special of pear, goat cheese, and arugula. Based on our positive experience that checked every box from the taste of food to the excellent service, we will definitely be back for a meal soon.

When the wife greets you at the door & says too tired to cook let's GrubHub! Many trusted options, but tonight we tried something new.. Glad we did! Everything arrived HOT and even presentable. Best onion rings on planet earth, guaranteed! Quesadilla were incredibly delicious and stuffed with good quality meat & Cheese. French fries were perfect, better than any other restaurant in area. Wings were tasty too. Looking forward to trying more of the menu. Did I mention the onion rings....

Steak and meatloaf were amazing
Coleen our waitress was amazing
Went for lunch and ordered a side salad and ribs. Request bread with the meal, but they don't offer it unless you pay extra. The salad was nice but the cherry tomatoes all had weird splits in them so I didn't eat them. The full rack of ribs came with a large plate of fries which were lukewarm at best. The full rack of ribs was big, but missing the delicious BBQ flavor that most ribs have. I did not get a beer, but they had a large selection including flights of beer. For me, this Tavern was 3 1/2 stars, but will call it 4 stars.
Ok place for dinner and drinks. Was chaotic. Manhattan was good. Beer selection mediocre. Food mediocre.
Update: service has improved. Cobb salad was decent
