I got incredibly sick with food poisoning that I just got over today with their Chicharrones (I ordered takeout on Saturday) . Disappointed because it tasted good at first but an hour later I had weakness, chills, puking non controllably everywhere, I almost missed work the following day because I ate it at 6pm and then puked and fell asleep from being so weak.

The food is so warm, comforting, and made with such care. The atmosphere is always festive. Employees and customers are always in a happy mood. The drinks are tasty, refreshing and full of spirit. The chips and salsa are a great start, but be careful not to devour them and spoil the appetite you'll need to tackle your main dish! You'll walk out extremely satisfied because of the wonderful food you consumed. But, you'll also be pleasantly surprised because Pepe's is the best bang for your buck in Worcester. Highly recommended!!!

We came in on a Monday evening. There were several people working and no one in the restaurant but it took a few minutes to be greeted because they were all chatting and on their phones. Our bartender was obviously very green, she didn't know the most basic drinks, but that happens and everyone has to learn. The drinks she made took a bit but were delicious.
The food is just fine. Not the best I've had and not the worst. The giant burrito made four meals which is probably why people love it here. It's kinda hard to F up a burrito. My husband had the shrimp dish and he found it bland. This is our second visit to this restaurant, we hadn't been in years and now I remember why.

Food and everything is crazy good. Get a wet burrito here and eat until you can’t! Highly recommend. Service was slow, but very friendly and worked with dietary needs.

So for our latest adventure, we gave a second try to a place that's been popping up again so we thought, what the heck. The last time we went was probably 10 years ago. Well, it wasn't any better this time than I remembered. Not awful, but not great. Right in the middle I'd say. Definitely no Taco Spot!
The place is decorated very cute and there is parking out back which is a plus.
Our bartender was Very new but polite and did a good job for a greenie. The girl training her seemed to be fairly new as well but they were both pleasant and eager to please.
My wife went simple on the drinks and just had a couple of black Russians as she can't stand tequila but I'm a fan and had a couple of Palomas. They were tasty and well done.
The food was the biggest let down for us here. Chips and salsa were brought out right away and the salsa had julienned carrots which was different but not unpleasant. For an app we had the stuffed Jalapenos. Like a stuffed pepper, literally but with a bit of Mexican flair. They were ok but fairly bland. For meals my wife had the Chimichanga and I had the Chipotle Diabla Shrimp. Again, the dishes were just ok. Definitely not somewhere I'd look forward to going back to.
On to the next one!!
Side note: If you're looking for tacos outside of Worcester, AfroFusion in Webster has 💣 Birria tacos! I've had them twice now and they are delicious!
Got delivery. Burrito, chimichangas and beef empanadas. Food was good portions big.

My partner and I visited on Monday, to have a casual dinner. First Impression, I did not know if I was supposed to wait by the door to be seated or approach the counter pass the bar but once I was noticed a minute later, I was kindly greeted and told to sit anywhere. A few people were at the bar and 2 other tables were there.
Daniela was our server and she was nice, fast, and attentive. We had drinks, apps served within 20 minutes and food served right when we were done with apps. The food here is well portioned and affordable in comparison to other restaurants (flavor wise they are winning here too). Compliments to the chefs everything was seasoned, properly cooked, and presented well.
There was Latin music in the background and the vibe was relaxed and warm. I will definitely be returning for date nights here.
The reason I do not give it a 10/10 is because the greeting/host area was not clear for a new customer, the parking is hidden so you assume there’s no where to park, and personally the texture of the guacamole was not visually appealing but tasted delicious as well as the lettuce was super cold.
