Amazing menu. Creative breakfast that still satisfies typical wants. Tons of vegan & vegetarian options. Simple egg and cheese sando was above par, pico scramble was super tasty and lots of food, vegan breakfast sandos were filling. Potatoes are so crispy and well seasoned.

This place is amazing. Food is top notch and the customer service is implacable. I drive over an hour to enjoy this place and its always worth it.

I’ve tried most of the menu at Root & Press, and everything has been incredibly tasty with generous size portions. Their homemade lemonade and London Fog lattes are the best I’ve ever had, absolutely amazing. The staff is always kind, friendly, and provides excellent service. I highly recommend Root & Press to anyone looking for great food & drinks and a welcoming atmosphere!

First time here. The staff was extremely helpful in helping me figure out what was safe to eat due to allergies. It's a cozy atmosphere and relaxing place to eat. The Fenway scramble was delicious. My favorite was the home fries.

Food is always so delicious and amazing quality whether you eat in or get to go!! Love their seasonal menu items and the vibes in there are perfect. Staff is always so sweet and nice and welcoming!!

Some of the blandest food I have eaten in the area. Mostly ingredients served together packaged as a sandwich. Gf donuts were awful. I think they are primarily a bookshop.

I usually will not leave a review for a place even if I had a good time, however, this instance deserves recognition. I have no picture to share but I have an experience that will be etched in my heart. I want to shout out KATE & JADA for their outstanding customer service skills. There were no pretense to how they are. I came in happy but ended up in tears as I waited for my meal. Both Kate and Jade no only noticed me but went a step forward by simply sharing kindness and care which is very rare these days. There is customer service and then there is CUSTOMER SERVICE. Hands down the food was exquisite because of those two gems at Root & Press. It's rather late but I can't go to sleep without not making public note how the value of being seen in an unseen world. Thank you very much KATE & JADA for being phenomenal.

Really really cute place, delicious sandwich and coffee! Interior is beautiful. They compost and recycle which is always a plus. Free water and a bookstore in the next room with space to work. Definitely recommend stopping by :)

Everyone in my party agreed: the hot beverages were too milky. And the food was overpriced, so the lot of us didn't order any food even though we were all hungry. If the owner could take a 15-20% profit cut, they'd probably sell a good bit more food. But $16 for a cafe salad is steep.

Beyond that, I like the idea of this cafe/bookstore, but something makes me feel like it could be better executed. Maybe it's simply that it feels cluttered? But I understand having a hard time making everything fit in a small space.

Finally, service was good. Our orders were correct, and ready in a timely manner.

This place was amazing! We just got take out but it was so cute also I got homefries & scrambled eggs and they even separated them in the same container so it wouldn’t get soggy! The person at the front was kind and efficient, it was hot and delicious and the Buffalo potato salad side was also amazing and the pastrami sandwich, thank you!
