First time visit to this vegan friendly bookstore and cafe. All the seats were taken when we arrived but thankfully a table opened when we were ordering. I had the vegan maple breakfast sandwich and hashbowns with an apple streudel to go. The sandwich was piping hot and delicious. Book store with gifty items was cute. Only 5 minutes from our event at the DCU center. Recommended.

Awesome book store and cafe! They helped my sister get her first book Spooky Season on shelf. Amazing owners and supports of first time book writers!

This place is amazing!!! Such a cute vibe inside root and press. Amazing food options for vegetarians/people with dietary restrictions. The coffee there is also really good and they offer a lot of latte options!

Had one of the most delicious vegan sandwiches here (the vegan avocado BLT)! My husband is GF and there were so many good options for him too. My kids really liked the chicken sandwich and avocado toast they got. They have a really good variety of food and drink choices. We happened to find it on our way from Boston to upstate New York, wish we lived closer!

Has a substantial vegan section on the menu for both breakfast and lunch, at least equal in scale to the non -vegan items. Separate cooking stations. Was quite nice.
Pros: Food quality, Great staff, Nice bookstore cafe vibe
Cons: Parking could be hairy since it's on street only
