Safari Cafe

I went here for lunch today. Food was self served buffet style. I tried a little bit of everything. My favorite was the stewed vegetables and stewed goat with potatoes. My friend and had a full plate of food and a drink each for $15. It was a good deal for the amount of food we had and everything was tasty.

I've wanted to try the Safari Cafe for a long time because of the great reviews on Yelp and tonight we had dinner there. It was really wonderful! It was a buffet and there were about eight different choices and I tried every one of them. A few dishes were made with beans and plantains and it was a wonderful combination. It was my first time here with my husband and they were serving buffet style fare. There were many tasty options options to choose from and I loved the flavor of their beef sambusa (spicy and flavorful). The interior decor is typical no frills for mom and pop joints but it is clean and homey. For 22 bucks we got all you can eat plus sambusa plus two drinks...you can't beat that! Great service and conversation.We will definitely come back again.
