I WOULD GIVE NO STARS IF I COULD. The bartender there was SO rude. If I owned a restaurant I would fire her in a HEARTBEAT. My dad ordered a Cuban panini which has pulled pork on it. He is not one to ever ever complain but we just worked a long day and he was starving so I nicely asked the bartender if we could replace it with a burger. She told me that they are super strict there and can’t do anything about it. She didn’t even offer to half the sandwich that was 13 dollars. ARE YOU KIDDING ME! We asked for a manager and she said there is none. We use to love this place now we will never go again.

Went here this past Sunday, 2- 23-25 . We were all planning to eat dinner after a long day moving . We had a party of 10 and already waited a bit at least 10 + minutes to be seated. One person said they were just waiting to put the tables together and clean some up. While the mean host said it looks like you're going to have to wait another ( 30 - 45 minutes to be seated), at that point, we decided to leave the restaurant and go elsewhere. While we were leaving the restaurant, another " smaller group " walked after hearing what was said to us. Not very customer friendly . I've never eaten there and was definitely going to give it a try ( oh well) . You should always have a ( Host or Hostess up front) with personality and pleasant for the customers. It definitely makes it a better environment for all.

Waited for 10 minutes at the door with nobody even acknowledging us. Servers walked by.. nothing. Then when we asked a server what was going on she was extremely rude and told us maybe we should go somewhere else. Not the first time we’ve waited for a long time with nobody acknowledging us. All you have to do is say something to the people waiting.. it’s really easy. Never again

The fish and chips is confusing. Cod on 1 menu and haddock on the other. Don't like cod quite as much, so will not order that again. Ordered a bowl of chowder (which is excellent) and a caesar salad. Asked them to bring the food out as it was ready. The chowder came out in a really warm bowl and had a crust on the top. So chowder sat under a heat lamp. Bummer. Fries are undercooked. Overall a decent place.
Had the prime rib with green beans and mashed potatoes. Great value at $12.99. The mashed potatoes taste instant but I’m assured they’re not, nevertheless I probably won’t order the mashed potatoes again.

Requested no mustard add lettuce tomato that was not listened to and not the first issue with them the women who answers the phone to take orders had horrible customer service and very rude on top of that the hamburgers are as hard as hockey pucks, if I could give zero stars I would 10/10 do not recommend.

UPDATE: What’s going on with the French fries? They’re not good anymore. About 4 months ago the fries started to stink. I’m not sure if they’re not cooking enough but you guys used to have amazing fries. Lately they’ve been insanely salty and not crispy at all.
The service can be hit or miss here. We’ve had great service and then some servers who disappear into the kitchen for long stretches of time/talk to their customer friends. The food is average pub food and probably one of the cheapest sit down meals you can get post inflation. Overall, I love this joint and would just like to suggest someone change the chemical used to clean the tables. It so overwhelmingly strong and something I smell throughout the whole meal and on my clothes the next day. It’s just a shame because it really detracts from the experience. Otherwise, you’re doing it right Scruffy’s!

A Perfect Spot Before Flying Out!
We decided to stop by this spot before catching our flight home, and we’re so glad we did! The location couldn’t be more convenient—just a stone’s throw from the Worcester airport.
The prices were reasonable, the service was warm, friendly, and impressively efficient, and the food was delicious and satisfying. It was exactly what we needed to relax before traveling.
We wouldn’t hesitate to return the next time we’re flying to or from Worcester airport. Highly recommend this gem for a quick and pleasant pre-flight meal!

Food: I got the chicken Cobb salad, which was pretty plentiful. The vegetables were fresh and crunchy however, the chicken kinda looks like those grilled chicken strips that you get in the frozen section. It’s edible but kind of cold and kind of fake tasty. It’s also pretty inexpensive to eat here as they have their $9.99 deal going on on Mondays.
Service: our server made sure we got everything, would have appreciated a bit more attentiveness, but still fine.
Ambiance: very local older crowd that just loves a good spot that’s inexpensive with great portions. They have trivia and sport television on the bar section as well as the dining hall.
Location accommodation: it’s in a plaza with plenty of parking, but it does get full as there is also a nail salon in CVS right next-door to it

I’ve been here a few times hoping it gets better. It doesn’t. Food is nothing to write home about. They have only one good bartender and he’s the most attentive one. This place just needs a huge over haul! The other bartenders like to talk to their regulars and not bother with anyone else. The wait staff looked better than normal, but that’s only cause a lot of them seem new.
