We ordered the jumbo cocktail shrimp appetizer. It wasn't good. We actually didn't finish the 4 shrimp that they served. The Caesar salad was not good. It tasted as if it wasn't fresh and had been refrigerated with more pungent items for days. The beef medalions in the surf and turf were cooked unevenly. The Salmon was quite good, the clam chowder was good. We had a 6:15 PM reservation on a Friday night. The restaurant was almost empty. We spent over $150 for dinner for two people. We won't be back (we've visited several times). I don't leave many critical reviews, but Sonoma doesn't warrant another visit.

Went on a Saturday 5pm. It was quiet as it was early. My husband was happy with it, I was just ehh. If I could give it 3.5 stars I would. Ordered Prosecco was not nice and cold...it was tepid/cool. Husbands beer was cold. We had truffle fries as an appetizer. Literally just fries I could have made at home with some truffle oil and Parmesan. Husband ordered caprese salad that was good. It was nothing special. 4 thin sliced tomatoes with burratta and some balsamic drizzled over. I had a salad with salmon. The salad was drenched but it was tasty, tomatoes, a few cukes, very thin and crispy croutons and the salmon which was a little under done in my opinion. My husband had the chicken parm, nicely cooked, pasta seemed like homemade he really liked it. The bill came to $101.65 with tip $126.65. I wouldn't care about going back again, my husband might want to though.

It was not at the level of value for fine dining. Server took our order but did not write it down and my wife's meal was the completely wrong steak cut and cooking temperature. We had to wait for a new steak to cook while my entre sat. We were not asked for things like break or additional drinks, we had to ask. There were not many diners in the restaurant, so the staff likely felt comfortable being less discrete while having discussions with one another about various things needing to be done in the restaurant in order to close. these discussions were at times across the dining room so we felt like we we're in the middle of the conversations. Our dinner reservation was for 7:30 but I felt like they were rushed to close and we were holding them up, vs them appreciating our dining with them. Not sure we'll be back anytime soon unfortunately.

Slow night. One waiter, received drinks fast. Apps took 35 minutes. No bread before, would have been nice. Food was decent. Lamb perfect. Potatoes just boiled. Spinach slightly seared and coated with butter. Wife's food same. Main good sides horrible. Took 2hrs made sure to get check early as they didn't do that fast either based on what I saw. Nice place and quiet. Dinner was $218 with 20% tip. Won't go back.

What a lovely experience!! We loved the overall appearance of the room, especially that spectacular ceiling. Our meals were lovely, we were clearly there WAY past the normal lunch hour but no one rushed us at all. A delightful afternoon!!

I was staying at the Beechwood hotel and stopped by Sonoma early in the morning looking for coffee. Gigi greeted me with a smile and assured me I’d love theirs. It was incredible- dark, rich, and so smooth without a hint of bitterness! I seriously could not wait for the next morning- for both the coffee and getting to chat with Gigi again! I’ll be back when we are next in Worcester- hopefully to dine at Sonoma as well.

The steak tartare was LOVELY! The truffle flatbread was so flavorful. Our entrees, however, were bland and the scallops were very small. The scallops were supposed to be served with a pickled purple cauliflower— it was a slice of the cauliflower and did not taste pickled at all. Actually, it just tasted like uncooked cauliflower?‍♀️. The lamb was fine… an extremely fatty piece. We decided to skip dessert after the entrees.
The service was wonderful! We have been to Sonoma twice now, and the first experience was much better. It’s never very busy, which is definitely a plus. We probably won’t be going back again, but it was fun giving it a second try.

I didn’t realize they closed at 8 but you would never know with how wonderful the food and service were. The bartender Christopher did an excellent job entertaining me, educating me and just giving me the company I enjoy when sitting down to a dinner alone at the bar. The food was EXQUISITE. My pictures do not do any of it justice. I got the kabocha squash and goat cheese agnolotti which was so rich and flavorful I was only able to get through 3 of the fluffy pasta pillows before taking the rest and indulging for breakfast. The side of Swiss chard with beets was so incredible, I could have eaten 10 more bowls! And the side of honey nut squash was absolutely divine with heavy Indian notes and a strong cardamom profile that was so tasty and comforting. I will be back in the area next month and you can guarantee I’ll be back for more delicious food.

Wheelchair accessibility: There aren’t any stairs and the door are comfortably held open when entering.

overall it was fine. the cheese board and meal were good. I enjoyed the scollops, my boyfriend said the steak was fine but not the best he's had. the desserts were disappointing. the flavors were fine but the creme brûlée sugar on top was burnt and didn't crack, it just globbed together and the temperature of the custard was warm in some spots and cold in others, it also looked like it hadn't set properly. The tart tatin was another where the flavor was good but the execution was not. the apple pieces were too big and not soft enough to put a fork through and the pastry was either very soggy or very undercooked.

I had a breakfast meeting at Sonoma at 8:15 on a Friday morning. The restaurant was largely abandoned and the perfect atmosphere for substantial conversation. I had the overnight oats, which were quite good. Service was attentive and courteous.

We dined there a few weeks ago. It was very nice and the food was very good. What set this apart for us was our server. Our server, Chantelle, was so professional, yet friendly and sweet. She was very knowledgeable and did a wonderful job and made us feel so special.
We plan on returning to Sonoma and we'll request to have this exemplary young woman serve us again.

I went there with 2 friends. The service was great. The manager checked on us as well which was really nice to see. The Restuarant is really such a gorgeous place. The food was really good. Definitely my destination in the future.

Had lunch here twice in the last month and both meals were excellent. I found the prices surprisingly reasonable, service was excellent and the atmosphere is the best in the city. if you're looking for a nice place and a change of pace from the usual, I highly recommend trying it out.
I will definitely be back.

We ordered two seafood dishes; both just so-so. However, appetizer oysters were fresh and satisfying. Modest wine list with a reasonable spectrum of price points. Wines by the glass very limited. Service was attentive. Lovely atmosphere, including an attractive bar. Won't likely return given the mediocre preparation in relation to prices. Perhaps the B-team was in the kitchen on a Monday evening.
