Best birria tacos, consume, and veggie tacos! Great atmosphere and great staff, my friends and I come here all the time

The food was absolutely phenomenal! I picked up the Birria Taco Combo with the consome. My only issue was that I finished the 3 tacos way too quickly and wish I had ordered more! Can't wait to order again and try something new!

Yesterday night me and my boyfriend decided to try a new burrito spot. We were really hungry and excited and once we got our food my bf’s burrito was fine nothing tasted weird but when I tried mine the sour cream tasted spoiled/expired. It tasted funky. So when you eat a burrito you have to take at least three bites to actually taste the sour cream part right? I didn’t taste it right away but as soon as I did (3 bites in) my boyfriend went inside and politely asked for it to be remade. The person in charge told him no to remaking it OR refunding because apparently it was half eaten (it wasn’t) and that the kitchen said the sour cream was fine. She then proceeded to say that no one complained about any food that whole day which is weird in my opinion because you don’t just use one jar of sour cream for that whole day… you have to keep filling. If anyone is honestly scared of food poisoning or eating expired things I genuinely don’t think you should eat here. She refused any kind of compensation and I ended up just throwing the burrito away. Overpriced burrito with spoiled sour cream and I had tipped too… just very disappointing and they were really dishonest and the service was not good.

My husband and I thought the food was very good, and our waitress was extremely nice. We visited the day before Cinco de Mayo, so we expected a wait and delays with food, but everything came out quickly—very impressive.
However, I’m giving this one-star review because of how the restaurant handled closing time. On Instagram and other social media platforms, you clearly advertise that you're open until 9 PM. Despite this, we saw you seat a couple at one table and two girls at another—only to take their menus away and tell them they had to leave at 7:58 PM because the staff didn’t want to stay open until 9. I was honestly shocked. That kind of treatment is completely unacceptable and misleading.

Recently multiple times I got a rejection after asking for a table for one 50 minutes before the restaurant was closed or right after it's open and that it is to go only. I was a loyal client for 3 years and constantly came there a couple of times per month alone or with a group of friends, but what kind of service is this now? Got the feeling of "You are alone, so we are not going to waste our time on you", but at the same time "If you are a party of 4 and more, here's your extra gratuity fee". I will now try to avoid once my favorite place because of the attitude, though I loved the food a lot. Very sad.

The last couple of times is being so mediocre, I never leave negative reviews Taqueria del Pueblo deserves it. Portions and quality went significantly down. If you aren’t going decrease the tacos size and flavor at least you should include Salsa verde. Very disappointed I did really like this place. This restaurant just lost a frequent customer. Es tiempo de buscar otra taqueria.

Not pleased with service or food. Went for lunch with my family, no one was there but us and the staff wasn’t very friendly at all. We got a vibe like we weren’t even welcome and weren’t wanted there. We will NOT be going back!

The food here is absolutely phenomenal and the only reason why we come. However, be prepared to wait at least 20 minutes just for a drink and significantly longer for your food. It’s not that the staff are rude, but they do the bare minimum and don’t exactly make you feel welcome. And once again, I cannot stress enough that the wait for the food is abnormally long. You will be licking the crumbs off of the bottom of the chip bowl before they even start prepping your meal. Pretty sure they started growing the corn for the elote once we ordered it. I really want to make it clear that the food tastes delicious and the staff aren’t rude, they just reallllllllllly need to stop moving as slow as humanly possible and also at least pretend that they care.

I use to love this place, but the service sucks. Let's be real. Also over pricing is not cool, EVER! I think it's time to retire this place. I feel like getting a job there and change the atmosphere to where it should be, because where it should be is common sense, stop being so generic Worcester!!!!
