Everything was fine, but that was it. The food was on the bland side. I got the Japanese fried chicken expecting some nice layers of flavor but it wasn't sweet, spicy or really anything. It was just fine. Even the fries were underwhelming. Not bad, just not very good. My Drink was similarly overwhelming, and I actually didn't like the creme brulee at all, the flavor was off. The service was kinda the same. Polite, but not friendly. Our waitress was efficient but I felt rushed toward the end, clearing our water glasses while we were still sitting (I would have liked more water). I would eat there again if someone suggested it, but I wouldn't be excited about it.
Large group of us, reservation 1 wk in advance, nearby parking, nice vibe that wasn't too loud, good drink options, server had great recommendations that were all hits, could accommodate vegetarians and gluten free people in the group. Overall a really solid option in the area
Fourth time at the restaurant, everything was excellent, except that on my last visit, next to our table, there was a huge crowd of people right next to it, I felt very uncomfortable. There were also a lot of people at the bar, not leaving any room to walk, which I found uncomfortable.
Overall good experience. Arrived at 6:00 pm for a 6:00 pm reservation. Seated 15 minutes. Located right behind greeting desk. Most in our party had to wear our coats and hats due to the temperature. A breeze was felt coming from the window. Made it hard to enjoy our meal. A comment was made to th wait staff and we were tolls she would make a note of it and pass it on. Food was timely but drinks took a little extra time. Three of us decided on Cajun chicken pasta. All agreed it was a great dish. Goats cheese and wings for appetizers GC was a winner. Wings did not meet expectations. Good beer and cocktails selection.
First time going for dinner before the Railers Game. Nice place, food was good, our server was not so good. Ordered an app then dinner, all came out at once, never came back to see if we needed anything, had to raise our hand to have her get us salt and pepper. Then had to flag her down to order a second drink. She spent her time talking to two women sitting at the bar. Waitress serving table next to is was excellent.
I booked a reservation for my fiancé and I for date night and what a cute spot to go to! The ambiance inside was chill and they had two levels with outside seating and igloos for winter time you can reserve which is adorable! Food was delicious and our server was very attentive. Since I'm pregnant I ordered a mocktail and was was tangy and fruity. My fiancé ordered the salmon and was very fresh and cooked perfectly. The smash burger with the secret sauce cooked medium well but was burnt which I like. Definitely recommend!
5 people, fish tacos were extremely fishy smelling the second they hit the table, lobster fettuccine had 4 very small pieces of claws and they were also very fishy, we left 95% of the 2 plates there, burger was good, nachos were soggy with a burnt tasting nacho, Mac and cheese was a step above boxed, very dissatisfied for $233.00 service was great so we left her a good tip, food was far from fresh

Visited this restaurant while in town for a cheer competition and unfortunately would not return due to our experience with the host/manager, Mario. The restaurant had only four or five tables occupied at the time, and we were a party of four. Despite this, we were seated at a cramped table clearly meant for three and were refused a different table.
There were at least eight open booths in the bar area that we were told were reserved, yet none of those tables were ever occupied during our visit. Additionally, the empty booths remained dirty and uncleared for our entire time there, which made the seating situation even more frustrating and disappointing.
The host/manager Mario was rude and condescending throughout the interaction. Our server, however, was polite and professional and even expressed confusion as to why we were unable to move tables. Management needs improvement.

The Mercantile charged $50 just to sit in the igloo which does not go towards dinner. It was very cold despite the heat in the igloo. The food was mediocre. I got steak tips. The wait time was mediocre, even though I had a reservation. The best part of the meal was the server, Caroline. I will not be back.

It was crazy packed but we had reservations and only waited a short time. Prices are great and it's a cool place. We got a margarita pizza so nothing fancy but it was good!
We loved the igloo!! It had a colored light changing chandelier and blue tooth radio so we hooked up and played a nice jazzy Christmas playlist. Everything was spectacular; my only slight disappointment was that they didn't serve pre dinner bread rolls. I always love warm rolls at restaurants!!
Great experience, the service was very friendly and also on top of things (went above beyond to accommodate gluten free request). Drinks were inventive, and the food options were creative and good portion for the price (try the crispy broccoli!).

Food was eh. Ordered the Chicken Milanese. $20 for chicken, arugula and tomato. I was looking forward to a rice or potatoe but realized later it is an al a carte menu. Why? It is not fine dining? I refuse to pay an extra $6 for a side when the main dish was not great to begin with. Disappointing
Second time to the Mercantile, not disappointed. Very clean, professional and attentive staff. Oysters were ice cold, fries were hot and crispy. Very tasty libations. Creme brulee was excellent. On a weeknight noise wasn't too bad for having a conversation with someone across the table. Only complaint is it's a little on the pricey side but in my opinion worth it. Overall closer to a 4.6. Would strongly recommend. 👍
