I showed up with my group of 5 girls at 11pm on a Friday and didn’t get let in because they were “at capacity”. As my friends and I (who are all either 21 or 22) were waiting outside, we watched at least 15 people leave and the security kept telling us that he had miscounted the amount of people and that we had to wait. My friends and I ended up going next door to the Banner and stayed there for a while and at around 12:20am we went back outside to the White Eagle and the same security guard told us that they were closing and weren’t letting anybody else in, even though they supposedly close at 1am and we’re not packed at all just looking in the windows. The security guard clearly did not want us in and did not want our business — the only reason we can think of is that he thought we were underage but if he bothered to check our IDs, we clearly are of age. extremely disappointed in the security guard.

Really good polish pub food, we tried the Eagle sandwich with smoked kielbasa, and the buffalo wings (a little to mild). The sandwiches were excellent. The place is like a really large local bar. The service is very good, and everything is low key.

Staff and management there are very rude and unprofessional. Waited in line for 20-30 mins to watch the manager let people cut a group of people waiting in line because he knew them. I thought this was a bar not a boys and girls club. You guys got to do better!!

We stopped at the white Eagle, a Polish social club, for dinner on a Friday night before a Woosox game. We were surprised at the seafood offerings. We had fried clams and scallops. Even more surprised at the quality, portion and price. And a full Polish menu. Kind of a nice touch - all entree pricing ends in $0.37 - club was founded in 1937. Price included 2 beers each.Parking: Tougher on Woosox game nights but lots of metered street parking and a couple of municipal lots.Kid-friendliness: very kid friendly. Club members bring kids.
