Had an amazing first time experience at West Side Steak & BBQ ! The owner, Elaine, was so kind and welcoming she made us feel like VIPs. Food: Everything was to die for. The wings are smoked then fried. We tried the hot/buffalo, sweet chili, and Cajun and everyone at the table had a favorite. The ribs were incredible - tender, fall off the bone, with a delicious homemade BBQ sauce. Pulled pork combo and brisket combo let us try a little bit of everything. We also had the chili, which was a huge portion and very flavorful. Elaine said summer is their busiest season and things can be slow in the winter. Let's support Elaine year round. She is a gem and the food is amazing! There's street parking and a good number of tables but take out is very popular too

My wife and I went here for dinner. Got everything to go. From the second you walk in there you’re treated with a loving smile and a fresh hello from the sweetest woman working the register. Before we even ordered she was asking if we wanted anything to drink. Told us we could bring in a beer from next door if we wanted to. She was amazing. The price for what we got was really good. Spent about 70 bucks. We didn’t have to wait to long for our food. The inside is small and cozy. It’s decorated with nice bright colors and cool looking items from all over the place. They even have outside seating if you’d like. Here comes the best part. We got the food home. Wow. The brisket was incredibly delicious. Soft and juicy and tasty. I can’t say enough how good it was. The piece was a pretty good size as well. The corn bread was good. The pulled pork was awesome. The Mac and cheese was incredible. Even the potato salad was good. The funny part about that was she told us it was freshly made so it might need salt and pepper. It didn’t. It was perfect. Nachos were good I just wish I didn’t get the beans on them. That’s my taste though. If you like ‘em get them. All around top to bottom front to back food and people were awesome. Even the small building was pretty cool. Give them a try. I can’t wait to go back and try something different on the menu. The one thing that did kind of stink was parking. You gotta find someplace to park on the street. Good luck and practice your parallel parking skills.

I saw good reviews and was hopeful…Meat is full of gristle.Per 2lbs they shorted me quarter of a pound•••They did offer me to come back and get quarter of the pound, But it’s not worth the drive

Really comfortable local spot. The gracious Brazilian hostess was the highlight of the night, with the delectable barbecue right up there as well. We went for Worcester Restaurant Week and we're very happy we tried it. Raspberry Walnut Salad = yummy. Nachos=very good. Steak, St Louis Ribs, Roasted Chicken = all excellent. We had a great experience and will be back.

The first thing to point out is that the owner, Elaine, who has been running this wonderful place for many, many years, is a truly wonderful woman who made us feel so welcome.Secondly, the barbequed chicken that we shared was as tender and delicious as any I had ever had before. I also loved the sauce that is served with it.Also, all of the sides that we tried were delicious: corn bread, baked beans, potato salad, and cole slaw.I will certainly be back multiple times and recommend it to everyone I know. If I lived close by, I could imagine visiting here at least once a month. It's really great.

The food is outstanding (brisket is award winning) but the nice woman who hosts, serves and directs (likely an owner) makes this experience very special.
