This place was everything I needed and more! We took a ballroom dance class near by and needed a good place to eat. Wooden Bar had plenty of parking and an entrance that made you wonder for a second if it was the right place. We visited on a Friday just before 7pm and had no trouble finding a seat right away. Inside, you seat yourself, there are menus on the table as well as water. When you’re ready you place your order at the bar. The menu seems to change monthly and there were specials on the board. The drinks and food came out quickly. My drink, the Pandan Milk Punch, was one of the best cocktails I have ever had. The flavor was unique and slightly sweet. For our meals I got the pulled pork sliders and my husband ordered the beef stir no fry. Both were delicious! I loved the bread on the sliders. Everything that walked by looked equally as good. For dessert we ordered the black sesame ice cream and the ube crème brûlée. The ice cream was good but a little more sesame than I liked, but I enjoyed it and was glad to try it. The Ube crème brûlée was brilliant! The marshmallow topping was fantastic. The vibe was low key with fun music.

This is a hidden gem. Didn’t realize it was a bar/restaurant until I got inside. Very nice laid back vibe. Great service, drinks and food were spot on.

First time going! Oysters were phenomenal. The pork sliders were soooo good too! We sat at the bar, and service was wonderful, not a long wait for food at all! Definitely will be coming back!

I've now been to Wooden Bar two and a half times and each experience has left me wanting to come back again.
The half time I went, the place was shut for the night by an unexpected water shutoff. The owner was outside, clearly upset and apologizing for the place being closed and giving those who showed up pastries as an apology. He didn't have to do this but he did and not only were the pastries unbelievable good but it made me want to come back to support them the following day.
I've had the Spicy Tantanmen, Black Tea Baklava, Shoyu Ramen, and a few other their excellent cocktails and can attest that all of them were amazing. The Spicy Tantanmen specifically has me hooked.

Great little spot!
Food: I got a noodle bowl and my wife got ramen. Both were insanely good.
Service: very friendly staff and helpful. I was a bit confused with what to do when I got there, but you just find a table, pick what you want and go up to the bar to order. I think the signage could be a little clearer about that, but that's my one tiny complaint. Staff was friendly and helped me figure out how it worked lol.
Atmosphere: fun vibes, kind of feels like a secret club. It has that sort of cozy but industrial feel to it.
5/5 would highly recommend. Food was very good and just the right portion. Prices were reasonable and they have free parking: always a plus in the city!

The outside looks a little sketchy but their food is definitely worth checking the place out. I got the Anori Pulled Pork Sliders and Lemongrass Cucumber Sorbet, both were to die for. 10/10.

Wood Bar is the best experience for food and drinks in Worcester. I ate there for the first time around this time last year and have been there many times since. They have the BEST spicey ramen. One of the things I love about going there is that I know I'm going to get something unique and I get to try something new every time. I can always count on them to make a really excellent drink and to play around with flavors.

Phenomenal place! Great staff, cool vibes, the food was insane. Last month I tried a dessert and got the sauce on the side, I didn’t care for the desert or the sauce separately, but together, incredible! The sandwiches you could taste every flavor. Cant wait to go back.

What a delightful experience! We walked in shortly after they opened on a Friday. Staff met us with big smiles and warming welcome. They were very helpful in selecting the food. We ended up going with the pulled pork sliders for an appetizer, the spicy tantanmen and beef stir no fry for entrees and wrapped it up with the peach creme brulee.
Food came out very quickly and was very hot and fresh. The pork sliders? The bread is made in house and you can tell. Super fresh, soft, delicious. The pork sliders are an absolute must, though there's two, so if you have a larger party I would order 2 orders. The spicy tantanmen was incredibly rich and had a very good spice level. It was too spicy for my wife but if you like spice, I would totally recommend it. The pork belly was soft and delicious, and the egg and noodles were cooked to perfection. The beef stir no fry is brothless, so make note of that if it's your play. The noodles are so incredibly fresh and delicious. Beef was well seasoned and tasty. We ended the meal with a small peach creme brulee, which was a very interesting take. Crunchy top combined with the rich peach custard was unfamiliar but absolutely divine.
Portions on the food were generous. We definitely did not go hungry and felt meals were very fairly priced for the quality of ingredients and preparation that must go into the dishes.
The staff were incredibly friendly, accomodating, and checked in on us frequently.
Overall, highly recommended 5 stars across the board, we will definitely be going back to check the rotating menu options!

The food is a fun mix of comforting and adventurous and we love to see what is new each time we visit! We really appreciate that they care about their ingredients and work with a local farm. The staff is kind, great at explaining new things, and very attentive to allergies.

A great small plates spot with a solid variety of noodle dishes! The pork bun is a must-try, it is soft, flavorful, and perfectly done. The restaurant has a relaxed, spacious layout so you can sit wherever you like, and there’s plenty of parking right out front. Super convenient and tasty!

I give a lot of 5 star reviews, I wish I could give this one 6 stars. This is one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. The pork sliders are one of the greatest food items I’ve ever tasted.

Been to quite a few joints around Worcester, and I can honestly say this is the BEST ramen I've had outside of Shinagawa (or chitown). The black sesame ice-cream was also superb (like I was back walking the streets of Kanagawa).
