4 weeks…. 4 weeks in a row they messed up my order. Scrambled eggs with onion and cheese, but they can’t manage to add the onion or the cheese
I work right down the street and we have made it a tradition to get breakfast here every Friday. The food is excellent and very reasonably priced. We will be coming back every Friday for as long as they are open!

We stopped in on a Sunday early afternoon as we were hungry. We didn't seek this place out as we were driving by. Had a few beers each for the two of us. Food was good+, service was great. Atmosphere ok. We would go again and recommend.

I have fond memories of coming here as a kid and as an adult now sitting there with a kid of my own it brings plenty of nostalgia. Food is consistently good and has been now for the roughly 25ish years I've been going. I haven't been in a while and this was the first time back in quite a few years but I'll certainly be returning.

I arrived at about 4:15 on a weekday afternoon. Only one other customer in the restuarant. Got the feeling I was disturbing the waitresses sitting at the counter. The bench style seats in the booths were very low. I knew it would be a challenge to get out.
Bathrooms were not as clean as I would like. Menu was easy to read. As patrons started coming in for dinner, I got a sense I was at a local assisting living facility. The portions were generous and the price was fair. Can't say much for the presentation. No draight beer, everything was bottled beer.

These clam strips are absolutely disgusting. They have to be frozen. Someone needs to teach them how to make tartar sauce because this is vinegar. It’s gross. The onion rings are a big mess. The french fries are soggy. I was told that this place is amazing and the red wing is closed. Go and check it out!! I cannot repeat myself. These clam strips are absolutely gross. I didn’t put any salt on them and they’re so salty and they have some kind of flavor. I don’t know if they’re Bad or what the disgusting grossest thing I’ve ever put in my mouth

Got the baked scallops and haddock. Very good. Baked potato only offered sour cream- how sad.

First time here and it was fantastic. Will return as fried clams dinner was an A. Onion rings A as was the fries. The cole claw was an A+. Chef salad was an entree size with numerous dressings available. Clam chowder was an A after adding salt and pepper to my taste. The service was attentive.
Provided two cracker packs which I enjoy. Suggest you travel here as it has a very nice menu.

Nicky's has been open for over 50 years. They are obviously doing something right. Nicky's is a family restaurant that draws a steady crowd. They're known for their fried seafood and ice cream but have many other offerings, including breakfast. This is typical to a lot of places we grew up with having an early closing time. My daughter and I were in the area and we were both craving seafood. Our waitress was very attentive. My daughter started with a Shirley Temple and I had a Raspberry Lime Rickey! Delicious, brings me back to my childhood. My daughter and I both got a bowl of Clam Chowder. The chowda was filled with clams and potatoes. We both thought it had a nice flavor but was a little bland. Salt completely fixed that. They might keep the sodium low for their customers. My daughter had the kids size Fish and Chips. She said it was delicious and the fries were cooked right. I had one of the specials, it was a Baked Seafood Trio. This was baked scallops, shrimp and haddock in their basic stuffing. The scallops were huge and cooked perfect. The haddock itself was cooked perfect, the stuffing in the fish had very uneven temperatures. Shrimp were cooked nice, but extremely small. The Mashed Potatoes and the Carrots were cooked right. Overall I did enjoy the dish. For the price, the juice was worth the squeeze. If you are in the area it is definitely worth stopping at.
Kid-friendliness: For good kids!
