If you are looking for a place to stay and your in the area, I would give the Chapter House a try.
We were in town to see the Ed Gorey house, which is right next door, and choose this place due to the location. We had reservations for the Ed Gorey house, and wanted a place nearby to rest after our cross country flight.
Room was small, but tidy, and everything needed for a good nights rest was there. The room was quiet, and the bed comfortable.

Excellent! My only complaint is the bar closes very early, there is no room service and the window unit provides a significant amount of humidity. The host Jim was so sweet and the property is gorgeous.

Lovely inn! We stayed at Chapter House for two nights while visiting family nearby. We were greeted by the GM, James, when we arrived, and he made us feel welcome right away. The hotel is quiet, comfortably appointed and our carriage house room was cozy and comfortable. Would recommend and would stay here again!

LOVE this inn. It’s decorated thoughtfully, with cute nautical touches. Bed was comfy and the superior king room was perfect. All the staff was helpful and friendly. Special shout out to Sophie, the bartender, she really is an artist!
The entire grounds and outdoor space was perfect to hangout with coffee or a cocktail. 10/10 will return.

We just spent two evenings at the adorable Chapter House in Yarmouth, MA while in town for a friend’s wedding. Upon arrival we were greeted by James with delicious and refreshing welcome drinks. The room was immaculate and very on point with both style and comfort. We found the location ideal for day trips to both Hyannis and Dennisport. We enjoyed being able to walk to the Old Yarmouth Inn for a great seafood dinner and to the local shops on 6A. The outdoor patio with fire pit was a great respite on our first evening and we enjoyed drinks from the Inn’s quaint little bar. The staff was super accommodating and gave many suggestions for places to visit when we asked. The Inn was a quiet retreat and we would highly recommend it for couples. We did see some families staying with small children and it seems great for that too! Special thanks to hosts Jim and Anna for making it such an enjoyable and relaxing stay! We will definitely be back!
Noteworthy details: Nest products in the bathroom! Lovey attention to detail in regard to period decor accents!

It is the best hotel in all of Cape Cod, the rooms are incredible, the workers are also very friendly, the bar is undoubtedly one of the best in all of Massachusetts, it has an incredible and unique selection of cocktails, as well as beer and wine, Andrés and Sophie are incredible.

Just stopped by for a couple drinks and a snack as I live close and see the bar open sign daily. This place is really nice. Great service and the clam chowder is 9/10. Might be better than Captain Parker’s. Would like to see more food options but still a great place to check out. The patio and lawn area is a great place for groups to hang out with a drink around the fire pit.
We stayed here outside of the standard season and we had a fantastic experience. The general manager on site (Jim) checked us in and showed us around, he was super friendly and seemed genuinely happy that we were there. The room was clean and full of nice little touches, like lavender spray near the bed. Breakfast was provided, which was always nice. The location is fantastic, the building is beautiful. Thanks so much!

We booked a room on short notice at the Chapter House and are so glad that we found this adorable inn on Cape Cod. Phil is an extremely nice host who showed us everything, including giving us great recommendations for food options nearby. Very nice room and amazing bed. The breakfast including overnight oats were the perfect start in the day. We will definitely come back and stay at the Chapter House.
