Review of Giardino’s – 4.5/5 Stars

I’ve had the pleasure of dining at Giardino’s in West Yarmouth, Massachusetts, about five times now, and I can confidently say that this Italian gem consistently delivers a delightful experience. While my teenage kids find the pizza to be just average (still good, mind you), I believe the overall food quality is happily above expectations!

One standout dish for me was the stuffed pepper soup. I had never tried it before, and it was a remarkable surprise! The flavors were rich and comforting, and I can’t wait to order it again on my next visit. The chicken parmigiana was another highlight; it was perfectly sauced and, unlike many places, didn’t have the typical acidity that can sometimes ruin the experience for me. This is a dish I’ll definitely keep coming back for.

As for the baked ziti, it features a creamy sauce that leans heavily toward cheesy goodness rather than a traditional tomato sauce. This may come down to personal preference, but I found it to be a a slightly different twist. The garlic bread was soft, but still crispy in all the right parts - another highlight of a fairly basic Italian staple.

On a recent Sunday visit, the place was packed, primarily because the Patriots were playing. It was heartwarming to see the local crowd, mostly over fifty, creating a supportive and surprisingly respectful atmosphere for what could easily have been a raucous sports bar vibe. I truly appreciate that Giardino’s strikes a perfect balance—plenty of TVs to catch the game without the unbearable noise that often accompanies sports venues. Just a heads up for other team fans: during Patriots games, all TVs will be tuned to the game, so plan accordingly!

Overall, I highly recommend Giardino’s for anyone looking for a solid Italian meal in a welcoming environment. I’m looking forward to my next visit!

I ordered chicken Caesar salad-it was very good. Had a side of garlic bread which was also delicious. My friend got eggplant chicken Parmesan and said it was great- huge portion. Atmosphere seemed a little outdated but that may be the feel they’re going for- old school- as other reviewers have said. The place was clean, food was good, waitress was nice. I would go back .

While on vacation, we stopped at this cute Italian restaurant. The food was amazing, the waitress was so helpful. She gave us a bit of history about the restaurant as well as good food suggestions. The food was authentic. Best Italian food we have ever had! Prices were so good. Don't miss this stop! I highly recommend it!

Disappointed. Waitress was friendly but SO slow!! Prime rib had a good flavor but really chewy, ended up splitting some out because of the chewiness and couldn't swallow it. Very noisy

Baby carrots + prime rib (perfect temp) = J.V, do better. It could save on the bottom line as well as appearance for customers

I wanted it to be better. The food, even though there are ample choices, was average. Except for the tomato soup, which was delicious! The service was OK, a 15% tip OK. The place was noisy, not a place to have good conversation. I guess that means it was busy on a Saturday night. Given a choice, I would choose another restaurant next time.

This is a great place to go if you want to watch a game. If you want to eat, you should find another place because the service is very slow and the food is decent but not great.

Excellent food, service and atmosphere.

One of the best restaurants on Cape Cod.

Sit down and eat alone or with the family.

Lots of comfortable seating. A long bar.

Play KENO or scratch tickets from the vending machine.

Get the pizza or the spaghetti & meatballs. Or chicken condon bleu.

It’s all good.

Our waitress was very kind and pleasant. The restaurant has a bar section, so it's cool that they have separate rooms. The service there was quick. The chowder was pretty good. We're big Chowder fans, and this is one of the best ones that we've had so far. My boyfriend got spaghetti with meatsauce, and I got the chicken alla sulmona without the mozzarella cheese on top. The food was pretty good, but I got sick from my dish later that night, unfortunately. The dessert, though. Oh my god. They have soooooo many dessert options, and it is amazing. We didn't take pics of the dessert because we devoured them. My boyfriend got the lemoncello mousse cake, and I got the chocolate volcano cake.
