I adore this place! They offer high quality food, their menu is decent, The cook in that place is a real authority in the kitchen, I enjoy a lot trying all their dishes. The dishes are consistently fresh and tasty, the service towards the visitors is friendly. I often eat in this restaurant and I was never unhappy. I recommend it with no hesitation.

Love the brisket hash!

I loved the make-your-own omelette, toast and breakfast potatoes! The toast was soft and buttery and the home fries were red roasted potatoes. Yum!

Just a short walk from our rental, this charming breakfast spot features a mix of breakfast fare. My wife loved her crepes, while I went straight for the lobster benedict. Friendly staff also made takeout easy during these covid times.

One star for staff, another one for atmosphere. That's it. Glassware was dirty, both times. Food was extra salty. Prices were high. Toilets were in need of attention. Poor experience for us, hope it's not the standard.

Really loved this place the service was friendly and quick; We started with the cinnamon roll (a must) I was craving Lobster Benedict and this didn’t disappoint. My husband and son were equally satisfied with their breakfast. We’ll absolutely be back!

My girlfriend and I had a terrible service experience during a visit in Covid-restricted August, 2020. Neither the outgoing phone message nor the website said that they were not taking reservations, contrary to normal practice. We left a voicemail asking for a reservation and a call back which was not answered, and arrived at our requested reservation time assuming we would be seated. After being ignored at the door for 10 minutes we were told about the first come, first served policy, and forecast for a 15 minute wait. 45 minutes later our promised table had sat uncleared for 10 minutes, and we reached our breaking point and left, starving and frustrated. They should minimally change their messaging to explain how they are accepting customers, and additionally need to manage customer flow with some degree of reasonableness.Updates as follow-up to owners reply:I would posit that the most important fact is that we felt repeatedly misinformed and frustrated, leading to an overall poor experience. Further to your points:- Yes we did leave a voicemail at 10:30, and correct that we received no reply. None of this would have been a problem if either the outgoing phone message or the web site said the restaurant was operating on first come, first serve basis.- When we arrived at 12:30 we were ignored by the first 4 people who walked past us, and eventually greeted perfunctorily.- Correct that we were told it would be 15 - 20 minute for a table. 45 minutes later we had no reason to believe we were imminently to be seated.- It is not an erroneous assumption that a restaurant takes reservations. Rather, I would suggest, reservations are an expected component of the restaurant business - especially in heavily trafficked vacation areas, and even more so in times of limited capacity as a result of Covid-19 restrictions. I have visited roughly ten restaurants in Boston and on Cape Cod this summer operating under the currently difficult circumstances; all of them have required reservations and taken great strides to communicate their capacity and process limitations.- Incorrect that our presumptive table was being cleared 25 minutes after our arrival. At 45 minutes after our arrival we saw a table replete with the last guests' accouterments, a solitary bottle of cleaning spray and no indication of readiness. - Correct that we left without a word, as there was no one visible for us to speak with or who seemed to be concerned with our seating.- Our being hungry is absolutely a reason to leave a negative review. Your establishment is in the full time business of making people not hungry, and in our case missed that objective entirely. We left very hungry, very frustrated, and feeling well within reason to share our experience. Your establishment has many other positive reviews, which attracted us to it in the first place and I'm sure accurately reflect those guests' experiences. In the search for facts, however, I remain by my position that ours was a frustrating and unnecessarily poor visit.

Best breakfast ever. Lots of gourmet choices on the menu. I had a delicious scone and garden vegetable fruitata. The building has lots of charm and is well ventilated with large open windows. Highly recommend!

Delicious breakfast and lunch while socially distancing. Visited twice (so far) on vacation. Portions were perfect. My younger son loves their crepes with Nutella and strawberries. The pancakes are huge and delicious. Service both times was terrific.

31 May 2020. What a GREAT find. We were meandering down 6a and got the hankering for some food. We passed a few places and noticed the building with the gingerbread trim with such an OPTIMISTIC name! ( we just HAD to stop). Breakfasts are our thing. We can be critical. We had take out. Our phone call was efficient AND kindness infused. Imagine our delight when our neatly brown-bagged meal was served by someone who was smiling behind her mask! Not a detail was missed. We ordered breakfast croissants that were MORE than described. Fresh in EVERY way. Generous portions, great ingredients, fabulous humans! We enjoyed every morsel and then noticed that with our receipt, they included their take out menu, a nifty card stating the GM’s name asking for questions and an invite to call anytime. And WAIT! There’s more! Stapled to THAT was an informational pamphlet and map of “Olde Cape Cod Discovery Trail“. These locals didn’t know half the details in that pamphlet. Now, we’re gonna follow that guide...and eat there for breakfast AND lunch. Keep smiling behind those masks. Your business is a SHINING example of both quality and safety. Keep up the GREAT work! And if you’ve read this far....are you in your car yet?
