My husband and I living here for about 10 days now and finally stopped in, it is a beautiful place in business since 1925!! The ice cream is delicious and the owner whose Great Grandfather started the business that not only was an ice store but also a pharmacy, was one of the nicest and pleasant people we have met. We of course will be stopping there now many, many times and bringing our Family and Friends!!We love Yarmouth port!!
Had been wanting to stop in for a while and finally did today. It was okay. The ice cream is not home made, I asked. And when he offered to split a frappe in half for my boys, I asked how big it was, he said 24 oz. so I said okay and he gave us two 8 oz. cups. For the frappe and small cup of ice cream it was $15 which I guess is standard fair now but still surprises me. Give them a few stars for the atmosphere and history, but the lunch fare was not good. The clam chowder was all cream and no clams, and the seafood salad very average. There is a reason they are empty at lunch while nearby places are buzzing.
