everything was fantastic except for one rather important detail: the Reuben Sandwich was a HUGE disappointment!! It did not taste like a Reuben sandwich. The corned beef is cut in a julienne fashion, not shaved, the sauerkraut was too mild. No sign of thousand island dressing. Huge sandwich which is a plus but no - this is not a Reuben, sorry.

The airliner is the go to place for my cheat day (although they have several diet friendly options). My favourite combo is the Wright wrap with the grilled chicken and a box of Frushrooms; delicious deep fried mushrooms. Always friendly service. And seriously, how many drive in restaurants offer the option to fly in? A real hidden gem that more people should take advantage of.

We went here for supper, ate outside on the patio. Lots of outdoor seating. I had the 'ultralight' veggie falafel- delicious! We even saw one of the guests take off in a plane - it was pretty cool!

What a pleasant surprise ! We cook at our house, an my wife is a great cooker! we often have mediocre experiences going out, it is hard to find great food in Winnipeg, so we went to this place, on our way to Pinawa, mostly because of pictures, nice place and menu, but with no great expectations. In this case, WOW !!! the burgers were big and soooo good, tasty. Service was above the average, friendly to the point it makes you feel like writing a nice review highlighting both.... and the atmosphere is beautiful, a mix of 60-70 drive in and air lounge. Thanks Airliner, will be back and will recommend you a 100%

I was looking for shaved corned beef vs the sliced. It was a bit more challenging to eat that way. However it did taste quite good otherwise. The onion rings were yummy as well.
The owner stopped by my table and asked if everybody at the table was happy with their food. She was very kind and respectful.
I loved the decor. The place was very warm and inviting.
I had a strawberry milkshake, Reuben, fries and gravy. Next time I go I want to try some of the flight named food!
