everything was fantastic except for one rather important detail: the Reuben Sandwich was a HUGE disappointment!! It did not taste like a Reuben sandwich. The corned beef is cut in a julienne fashion, not shaved, the sauerkraut was too mild. No sign of thousand island dressing. Huge sandwich which is a plus but no - this is not a Reuben, sorry.
The airliner is the go to place for my cheat day (although they have several diet friendly options). My favourite combo is the Wright wrap with the grilled chicken and a box of Frushrooms; delicious deep fried mushrooms. Always friendly service. And seriously, how many drive in restaurants offer the option to fly in? A real hidden gem that more people should take advantage of.
We went here for supper, ate outside on the patio. Lots of outdoor seating.
I had the 'ultralight' veggie falafel- delicious! We even saw one of the guests take off in a plane - it was pretty cool!
