First time at this popular spot in Beausejour, it did not disappoint! Came in first thing when they opened at 11:30 and ordered a variety of dishes.
Everything was amazing. Adorable cute lil diner, friendly staff. Beet chips perfectly cooked and crispy with delicious dipping sauces. Great portions with reasonable pricing. Need to come back to try EVERY menu item. Thanks for the lovely experience!

I was a little put off when I heard the price after I got to the till for my take out (fish & chips). Opened the box and could tell immediately the breeding was right. First few bites, FAN. TAS. TIC. I will happily pay what I paid today for food of that qualiy. Fried stayed crispy until the food was finished, perfectly cooked. I'm still trying to figure out what they've done w their tartar sauce, house made or not, it held its own w the rest of the dish. When simple things are available on a menu for a place I haven't been to I usually gravitate to those as a bench mark to feel out if I'll make another visit. After these fish and chips I will be back for seconds and to try the rest of the menu. Fantastic job 🤌

We didn’t plan to go to Colins’ House to eat , it was close to closing time and thought it was to late to go in. The young waitress opened the take out window and said we can come in and eat. So we did, so glad we did! The food was so delicious. I had Tacos shrimp tacos, and pulled pork. Both were fantastic. My friend had the butter chicken, and it isn’t your run of the mill butter chicken. There are bean sprouts and rice and total deliciousness in a bowl. They stayed open past 7 so we could finish our meal. Thanks for the wonderful hospitality and great food. Will be back, again well before closing.

This place is a hidden gem. It’s well worth the drive from the city or a stop on your way to or from the lake. Everything on their menu can be made gluten free and/or vegan so it’s very accommodating to anyone with dietary restrictions. We ordered the beet chips and tacos. The beet chips have a very generous serving size so bring your appetite. We ordered it as an appetizer for 4 people. My parents and I ordered two tacos each and my husband ordered three. It was more than enough food. The food and service were excellent. The owner Colin and our server Laura were both incredibly friendly and accommodating. Thanks again for the great service. We will definitely be back!

Our first visit. It was revelatory. Beet chips with rosemary accompanied by a whipped feta dip. Wow. Then the main food. Lovingly prepared. Fresh ingredients. Great proportions. One dessert. It is all you need with a great house coffee. Very well priced. Very personable owner and staff. A restaurant experience not to be missed.

I have never done this, but feel i need to share. I had the fish and chips on August 8th..take out. The fish was not what we normally had before. We have eaten there since they opened. An hour after eating I got so violently ill that I ended up at the hospital. I could not stop vomiting for 4 hours straight, besides the same at the other end. After semi-recovering 5 days later I went there to tell them (Colin) what happened to me. Unfortunately, he just sat and listened and did not say one word. No apology, no explanation, no acknowledgement. The only words he spoke were to say his fisherman was not fishing anymore so he was using the fish he gave me...ROCKFISH! I walked out disgusted that he had nothing to say or do. It has been 2 weeks tomorrow that this happened and it has taken me these 2 weeks to get my stomache/body back to normal. A most unfortunate experience that has left me very burnt...always shy of fish again.
